hey johnwpb, i'm on of the lucky few who still have a copy of freedom 2.1 which does not have a compass, do you mind if i incorporate your compass into freedom for my own personal use?
Thanks for the kudos! I just started looking in other logical places when they weren't where they used to be. I'm having a new issue that I can't fix, though. If I choose to use the stationary logo menu, the one logo I want to use refuses to load. I want to use the GMC Truck logo. I can choose any of the others, and they load fine. The GMC Truck logo shows up in the preview, but when i choose "change" it never loads. Any ideas?
Sure, go for it, I got it myself from the forums, do a search for "Flash gauges source" and you should find the original ones. I altered it to remove background and change font colors and font ect....
I THINK that is something I fixed for the next version. Any files in the MenuLogo's folder that have spaces in them fail to work. Rename the GMC Truck.png to GMC_Truck.png. Thats the way mine is named here, but I think it was something I did after the last release.

My Fiero Build Thread
Enforcer,
It in 1.0.1.2 when I check the version using RRConfig. I installed the latest from the RR thread and when I ran RRConfig it informed me there was a leter version and I upgraded.
This machine is a fresh build with a full XP SP3 installed, RR and DFX 4.
Only other stuff installed is driver for sound, graphics, intel chipset, USB Wireless and Bluetooth. (and now Wireshark so I could see the XML requests)
I noticed there is a Myweather.txt file that also contains the same error, I guess this should contain the XML response from the Weather website so it can be parsed for display.
