I don't have anything like "NEXTTRACK","NEXTTRACK||ChangeStarIndicator" or "NEXTTRACK","NEXT||ChangeStarIndicator"

So I don't think it helps. I don't get it. What section should that stuff be in?

Are you talking about the buttons in the skin or are you talking about some other input device?

Edit: also are you talking about a specific screen inside the skin?

I'm sorry guys, this is exactly why posting at midnight (after not enough sleep all weekend is a horrible idea).

On the main screen (when DFX first comes up) and starts playing music I can skip a track and go back to the previous track, but I can't hold the >>| button and skip quickly through the song. I haven't tried it on the music screen (that I recall) but like I said, I loaded another skin and it worked, so the functionality should be there....just not working for me.

I have so much to catch up on..you know? my mp3car is one of those things I work on when I'm working on it and then it sits for 10 months working perfectly - the I get a wild hair and dive in head first and have to figure out a bunch of other stuff again I've seen info on the Gas Finder and all kinds of other little tweaks .....just gotta find it..but this one was driving me nuts last night.

It does not have that function on those buttons - you can add it though.

can you point me in the right direction as to how?

searching for "fast forward" doesn't seem to be getting it done for me.

Edit: you guys are right I think...this functionality may not have been there before from the main screen. On my way home just now i tested it from the Music Screen and that DOES work..the difference might be that I put the album art in the middle of the screen where my honda logo was, so now I go to the Music screen less often. I'd still like to have this functionality on the main page though.

This is one of the main reasons I put the song position sliders in many of the screens. You just tap on the bar to jump instantly to any position in the song.

John, have you heard of anything like what I posted about the logos? I am also having problems with the volume buttons and the volume indicator not being in sync when coming out of hibernate. I didn't see anything about either in the help file.

Not sure about the logo's unless you are not using the latest version of RR, as one of Mitch's older releases did not display the logos.

As for the hibernation issues, that is the way RR itself is handling the resume, and not really a skin issue. There is nothing I can really do in the skin to help with that one.
