Thread: DigitalFX 4.0

I downloaded the latest flash, still around 100% usage at times. Always about 70%, and its pretty unresponsive and slow.

I'm probably gonna blow away RR and start over to see if that helps.

It is easy to Embed Garmin in DFX with the overlay? I saw some people having issues.

--Well, that did not do it. Still around 100% after a reinstall of RR and the DFX skin.

Also, I have to keep unplugging the Garmin USB adapter every time I exit it.

For the Garmin Overlay, what button accesses my GPS Screen? I just installed DFX, and I am looking at the Overlay Readme. I am lost at this point:

is anyone here using mitch's volume fade plugin in DFX 4.0?

i can't get it to work... tried placing the files and code in different places but it seems the plugin either isn't being recognized properly by DFX or it isn't running period... DFX says that the plugin is "ON" and thus "installed", but it never actually operates right, and i can't tell from the debug files that it is running at all. the plugin works perfectly and easily in other skins.

anyone have it working? where did you place your dll's and code? it's probably a simple fix or a matter of placing things in the right spot.

just for reference... i tried placing the "x,RRFadeVolume" code in menu.skin, plugins.txt, exectbl... all of which didn't work. Also, I had to place all the files directly in the root RoadRunner directory. Placing them in a folder within "MJSGadgets" caused DFX to say "OFF, Not Installed" for the plugin.

I got the OSK working, I just finished reading the entire thread here at work. Man what a long thread.

Anyway, now I know I read somewhere else about exiting RR and Garmin not closing, but I will have to search for that. ** Duh, found it

And I am still having the unusual CPU load, I'll try removing flash and reinstalling, then going through the steps to make RR run faster.

It was performing horribly last night though, pretty CPU intensive.

I have read many of the threads and searched over and over, but I have not been able to find my answer. I have correctly set the path to the mpc player in rrconfig. The DVD works correctly, but when I press menu and come back to the dvd it restarts? Is there an easy fix to this problem. THanks
