That's a fancy looking calendar you got there!
Speaking of the next release did you happen to look/fix the lack of visible #'s, and letters on the keypad for "Add Fuel" in the Mileage & Trip section?

Ok, I've done all of the suggestions to get RR to perform better.
But it still takes around 3 seconds to transition to new menu's when I click a button. Say I click Music, to get in the music menu folder takes about 3 seconds (100% CPU load as well). And If I want to Go to Xm, same deal, another 3 seconds..
I'm considering just wiping out everything, doing a complete new XP install and starting over, cause I can't imagine having this in my car the way it performs here at home - its really bad. I did an nlite install initially, but I may just do a full blown XP install out of desperation to figure this out.
Also, I can't seem to get any playlists to work in DFX 4.0. Its the only skin I am using, cause I really like all of the features, but its a little frustrating. I get one thing working and break another. It took me forever to get album art to show up, and I lost the ability to see playlists I've saved somehow..not sure what I did wrong on that one.
I copied over several music file folders, edited all of the tags with tag&rename, put art in the folder with it, and now the art shows up, but I can't play any playlists, they don't show up in the browser...
Am I just retarded at Getting RR to work?
you need to add the playlist file type in RRConfig
ex: .pls, .m3u
in the same place you put: .mp3, .wav, etc
Well that was not very intuitive (at least for me - duhh)
I had the audio file types as .mp3 (cause I thought that was talking about the audio file types, not the playlist file types).
I changed it and now my playlist magically appears...

** But, now I lost my album art again, I guess because I am trying to play the files through the playlist? I have no clue. And of course now I can't play anything. No files or playlists, nothing plays.
When I go to browser and click on root (were i have my music files) - I can see the album art (but I don't know how to play the files here (pictured below) - double clicking does not play them, and pressing play does not play them either)-- What you see below is the browser, and those are folders I copied over to my D:\Music folder. Playlist is the new playlist directory I just created that has all of the files in D:\Music - and the playlist I created is called October 2008 (I changed playlist location from the pic above).

Now, when I go to the October 2008 Playslist - you can see that I lose the Album Art and I cannot play these files either.

Am I totally doing something wrong?
Grr, I am really lost.
Should the music & playlist directories not be in the same place?
Not sure why my photos are redirecting either...
Sorry if this got resolved but has anything ever been done with the Browser OSK problem? Haven't used it in a while and today I was reminded why. The OSK comes up, but if you hit enter it freezes and you cannot do anything...Have to CTRALTDEL>.
This is pretty simple, you need multiple types of music files defined in that audio file types box. If you only have mp3 in there, it will ONLY display mp3 files. If you only have m3u files in there, as is your attached image it will ONLY display m3u files. So you need both in that box, and I believe they need to be comma separated.
Thanks Machine and utd09bry.
I think I was looking at it too long and just getting frustrated.
I'm going to try a total reformat and install of XP - start from scratch and see if I can get the CPU usage resolved - then just take my time trying to set it all up.
