This means it will not be a patch after all, but another full release. I am almost done with the things I was working on, and a couple plugins I wanted to include are also wrapping up. HOPEFULLY I can get the next release out some time in November.

In that case here are some of mine:

Ability to have album art on the main menu. I know it was discussed further back, but I never figured it out. I posted a few posts up about it since I could not get it to work.

Also, I'd like to be able to browse whats on XM while I am still listening to my music on my hard drive (I use XM with this skin).

I'm not sure how easy that would be to add, but it would be nice to have the ability to see whats playing on XM while still listening to my media, then if I see something I like on XM, I can jump to that.

That may be difficult though, but these are only suggestions.

And in the mean time, if anyone wants to help me figure out the Album art on the main page issue, I'd appreciate it . I know it was talked about in post 2028 - but I don't have the menu-Logo.txt file to edit, so I don't know what needs to be done.

Basically, I just want the album art for the current playing song to display in the main menu window. If I change the song, the album art changes (etc etc).

ok i will redownload digital fx 4.0 with my antivirus turned off(i really don't think) that's the problem. cause when it freezes the memory use it at 6%. I will download rr the one before the mitch release

That's something i've been meaning to try - stay tuned..

EDIT: OK, it worked.

I chose to edit the "photo" layout 'cause i don't have a menu-logo.txt either. I suppose it could be created but it was super easy to work with a layout that's already setup to be chosen. Just drop the attached file into the skin folder (you might want to back-up the original) then go into settings and choose the "photo" layout - BAM!

Just built my first CarPC, bench testing in process. Downloaded and installed the latest version of RR, and started off with CrystalBlue skin (beautiful, but not many features yet). Then downloaded and installed DFX 4.0 last night (or perhaps this morning to be more accurate) and had zero issues with this skin and install was very trouble-free.

So current build appears to be good. I have a fresh install of XP SP3 with latest updates, latest version of flash, winamp 2.53, WMP 11, and that's about it. No anti-virus yet. Dunno if that helps at all Morpheus.

To the creator of this skin, I love everything about it! Very usable, very configurable, seems stable. Once I overcome a few more hurdles (hibernation issues, deciding on GPS package, etc.) expect my donation. Great job, folks!

I will try that out this weekend.

My new Motherboard came, so I am going to do a full reinstall of everything and see if I can get control of my CPU issue.

Don't mean to be rude here but...

I have asked 3 questions recently and have Patiently waited for some help/insight. I have been posted over and worked around and It's getting irritating. I have contributed as much help as I can on this thread since DFX 2.5 . Prior to putting 10 posts over someones question before it is even acknowledged drags it a page behind. This never used to happen on this thread. It is polite to at least quote it and say you don't know so it is still visible on that page for longer than a day.

Just a personal thought for you. I wouldn't use WMP11 on the system. I ran into too much trouble. RR uses and likes Media Player Classic and provides it on the install. So out of curiosity what do you need it for?
