And we are only on post #285!
I'm posting this in case it helps anyone...
I was having freeze/crash issues with DFX3.0. I had uninstalled all RR and the old DFX before upgrading, just because, and then installed a fresh copy of RR and DFX3.0
I traced my RR freezes back to an old problem that came back to bite me. If you are using the zips locator feature... and are having freeze problems... don't forget to delete the zipslocator.dll from the RR directory. Took me forever to figure out / remember.
ALSO, I am absolutely loving the HD Radio screen. I had been waiting for it and WOW! F-in Awesome

Just as a data point, I installed RR and DFX3.0 from bare metal. There were only a few problems with apps but was able to search (VERY time consuming though..we need a better way) and get the overwhelming majority fixed.
This is kind of my quickie change log.

Not sure if this is where we want to post issues about 3.0 but here goes.
I found several issues that were a problem in the beta that are untouched in this release.
First, there is no cd-rip icon for the ripper.
next on the BROWSER the menu and url are still messed up.
Also I am finding that there is a lot of chopped OFF text...for example this is on the main screen while listening to net radio.
This is from my cell phone, and its my XM, I have a list called FAVES and then I have several broken down into catagories like DECADES.
Also wen you go from XM to net radio, XM is not muted.
The CD rip icon is as easy as going to the menuicons folder, and renaming CDRIP.png to CD RIPPER.png.getting the ripper to actually work is a different story! I gave up, and just embedded cdex in it's own skin.
Digital Speedometer mod for DigitalFX:
http://www.danielgibbons.net/files/DigitalSpeedo.zip
It currently has a digital speedometer and a Nissan logo. To change the Nissan logo, open Menu.skin and change Nissan2.png to whatever image you use. If you want a flash-based logo, use skin editor. Do the same thing in menu2.skin. When you are ready, put both of these files into your RoadRunner directory.

Tiger can you post a pic to see what it look like? Thanks
Any mods done to menu/menu2.skin must be done to the menu/menu2.skin files that are in the menu folder (four different sets of .skin files in this folder)within dfx3 as Kbreeden stated earlier, or it will change back after you change the menu layout.

I'm not sure quite what you mean...
Are you telling me that these 2 files:
-C:/Program Files/Road Runner/skins/DigitalFX 3.0/menu.skin
-C:/Program Files/Road Runner/skins/DigitalFX 3.0/menu2.skin
need to overwrite the files here:
C:/Program Files/Road Runner/skins/DigitalFX 3.0/Menus/Compass
C:/Program Files/Road Runner/skins/DigitalFX 3.0/Menus/DigitalClock
C:/Program Files/Road Runner/skins/DigitalFX 3.0/Menus/Photo
C:/Program Files/Road Runner/skins/DigitalFX 3.0/Menus/SpinningLogo
Wouldn't it be easier/better to just replace the files in
C:/Program Files/Road Runner/skins/DigitalFX 3.0
so that it's easy to change if someone doesn't like it?
