Once you find one that uses gif images for animation, look at the page source and copy the image location and put it in your ini file
Thanks for the reply, but I have already tried that, even if I just locate them to regular GIFs it will still load the same maps

Is the loaded map showing the current date?

I think it is a Standby or Hibernation issue with the new release.

    BTW, screenrefresh=5
So every 1/2 sec it should update.
Made a post on the RR bug tracker

Please add your information on the issue

The interactive map pulls data from the internet from weather channel servers. If you drag the map to the UK you can actually see clouds so I guess it works for your region. If you have GPS, it should automatically center on your location when opening. If you dont have GPS, you can go to the weather skin a hardcode your coordinates

    Code:
    F,98,14,604,495,"WeatherMap.swf?&lat=xx.xx&long=xx.xx&viewPortWidth=600&viewPortHeight=400&initialWeatherLayerType=radar&initialZoomLevel=8&wxAnimateOnStart=true"
The temperature and satellite maps are the ones that work by downloading the gif animations. Or that's how I understand it works

That's the code I have already tried changing I tried it again and I still cannot get it working, it keeps starting in kansas somewhere!
Have you had it working with yours?

    Use this to test:
    http://image.weather.com/web/flash/F...teOnStart=true

Once it does what you want it should be a matter of copying everything after the ?.

Actually I just went and read the first post again and it says this

Weather Live map that is dragable and zoomable. It will default to 1 of 3 things, to your GPS Location, to the Lat
and Lon you set in the ini, and if neither is available, will default to the center of the U.S.
So there should be an ini value you can change to re-center the map

Hmm thanks for the reply, I'm not too sure why its doing it, sounds like its defaulting like you said... but the ini file is in the folder with UK lat/lon but again these don't effect it even if they are changed

Is there a way to turn the mute button on the main menu into a ATT button, so it reduces the volume say 95%, but not totally mute it?

Could someone please post up their weather skin files and weather ini files please!

I am trying to get my location sorted out on the radar and satellite and no matter what I change it doesn't change it!!!

If someone has got their custom location sorted then please post your skin/ini files for me that way I can compare the two and find what I am doing wrong!

Thanks for any help and thanks to silvi for trying
