    HOnestly, not sure when another release will make it to the forums. I have a LOT of catching up to do. I am not sure what I was working on, what was completed, what was half way done ect ect... I WILL be releasing a new update though, just bare with me here....

    Has any work been done to the Mileage and Trip screen? Last post I saw referenced it not being completed due to documentation. It somewhat works for me, but everything resets if RR is closed or the computer is shut down.

    Clicking the Gas Prices button does nothing.

    Traffic button gives me the traffic for Miami, which is a long way away from where I travel.

    Any assistance is appreciated.
    I gave up on the mileage plugin... sorry, I spent countless hours trying to get it to work right, and never could get it.

    As for the gas, do a search in this thread, I beleive someone posted a way to get it to work with Enforcers new gas plugin.

    Hi John,

    While you are here, can you please comment on my question regarding uninstall? It was a couple of pages back, I'll repeat it here:
    ===
    I've installed DigitalFX 4.0 just for testing, and now I'd like to uninstall it.
    But there is no Uninstall icon in the "DigitalFX 4.0" start menu! And there is no record about it in Windows Add/Remove Programs either!
    How could I uninstall the skin properly? As far as I understand it added a lot of files outside the Skins folder, and registered some components, so it's not enough just to delete Skins\DigitalFX 4.0 folder.
    ===

    Any idea why that could have happened?
    Thanks in advance!

    In my case its DFx4 the problem. Other skins refresh values after hibernation without issues. I haven't reinstall DFx as I have first to backup some customizations I have in place but it seems reinstalling is the only thing that could fix this.
    Confirmed today that it is just coming back from hibernation that this happens.. If I exit out of RR and go back in it fixes itself but that is a royal PITA.. It doesn't do it with LSX Void so it is just this skin...

    What happens is the screen will not refresh until I press anything on screen.. IE: Everything will stay static until I hit volume or next track or something... Also, if I put it in reverse (which should activate RRPDC) the RRPDC screen will not show until I hit anything on screen..

    I reinstalled DFX4.0 and that didn't fix it..

    Any other ideas?

    Thanks

    I had a glitch happen last night, I've searched on this, but haven't come up with anything. I hibernated on the HDRadio skin. When the PC resumed, and it scanned the CD that was in the drive, it wiped all my FM presets with Track01.cda , track02.cda.... Only took a second to fix, but.

    Hmmm interesting indeed. I use a standard windows installer creator, and the option to create an uninstaller has always been on. See the screen capture below, and you will see it is both in the Start Menu, as well as Add Remove Programs.

    As for uninstalling.... ALl you really need to do is delete the dfx skin folder. The installer simply puts a few dll''s and such that some of the plugins need and registers them. The uninstaller will NOT remove these anywyas, as they may be needed on your system.

    As for hibernation, sorry I can not be of much help there, I have never used it. I have always just done a cold boot, as I use the remote starter on the car when I am going to go somewhere, and it starts up the computer by the time I get in.

    Well, I do have "DigitalFX 4.0" folder in the Start Menu (BTW, for some reason it is in the top section of the menu - the one, which is separated from the rest, and has shortcuts like Windows Update), and there are three links there: DFX Help File, DFX Menu Button Editor, Fix Flash Problem, but no Uninstall. And there is no DFX in the Add/Remove Programs list either.

    OK, thanks!

    Hey Blue,

    I know the page I want is called "Audio_Browser_skin" (correct?). But, not to be daft, should I change the property to "BROWSER"? I am not so sure... I can also edit the button command in exectbl.ini, which does the same thing as the button config program, or does it?

    Thanks for your help, I'm close but not quite there...

    Yes, the button config is just to make the whole process easier, as there are sometimes a couple of lines to change when editing a button and its supposed to help eleminate user error.

    Ya, that is the correct skin(page) and if you want the btn to show browser instead then change the btn label (in the btn config) as well.

    Got it working - Thanks

    Thanks Blue, the Button Configurator makes it easier at first.

    I just set the button to "LOAD;Audio_Browser.skin" and it works a treat!

    Cheers

    Hey guys, first time poster, long time viewer...lol

    Is there a simple way to have DFX start up whenever my computer boots into windows? I have tried windows auto-start but it changes the resolution to unspecified settings. I can not figure out how to change it. Any suggestions?

    BTW, I have searched but to no avail.
