Well that is more what the "themes" screen was for. I will do some editing and make that more dynamic, so that can be used for themes.

The "Users" screen, is for up to 6 different USERS. This is so each person driving a vehicle can save not only the colors and wallpaper, but the favorite radio stations, virtual disks, playlists, weather cities, iList settings, menu layout, button layout ect ect saved for an individual person.

Using the users screen will not work so well just to change colors, as all of the mentioned settings would need to also be saved for each user.

I will get to work on having both more dynamic, one strictly for themes (Leaves all settings alone) and the user switch for everything else.

Forgive me for not reading 200+ pages of posts....

In Mileage/trip, the number keypad isn't labeled, although the buttons are there.... The number keypad IS there when you go to maintenance, which, since it should be using the same font, is kinda confusing.

The Mileage/trip is also supposed to get info from GPS related to speed right? That also is not functional...


Thanks for all the hard work, I know I can't complain too much about 'free' software you've put a lot of hard hours of work into ;)


BTW, running XP currently, had it running on 7 but a LOT of functionality wasn't there (BT, wireless, etc) ...... Different function calls I bet..

The Mileage never did quite work right, sorry. However :D The next release has Sonic's new Mileage plugin with maintenance built in. It has a lot more functionality, and is working great!

Ok, after fracking 6 hours of coding and trial and error.... It's done!

The "Theme Picker" is now dynamic. When you click on a button in the theme skin, you are given choices to "Rename Theme", "Save Theme", "Restore Theme" & "Cancel"

When a theme is saved, it will save the background color or current wallpaper, whichever is being used, the dynamic progress bars & font color. Being this is just a "theme" it does not save anything else. It is however completely dynamic. When you click a theme, and choose save current, it will take a snapshot of that the main menu looks like (Font colors, bar colors, Wallpaper and such) and put that image into the theme chooser window, all without leaving the theme chooser screen :D

The "User Switcher" can is similar, but is used to take a complete snapshot of the skin, including weather cities, radio presets, , playlists, virtual disks, background, font colors, munu button locations, FM presets, menu layout (Animation, logo, photo ect) and on and on.

if there is a working skype plugin, a maitenence scheduler and easy theme changer... ill be forced to upgrade. i would like to contribute too, this skin is just too good to not help out a little. how much do people normally donate? what is considered generous?
