With the new method the plugins will be available to be distributed with skins or downlaod from any place.

However you will still need to register on my site and post in the download thread.
ok, i understand better now. i mean like i said, i really dont like the separate login... i know many others don't either. but then again, if you charged say $5 one time fee for each plugin, that opens a pandoras box of micro-charging for every feature in riderunner that people make.

i suppose since you are now only asking people to make a couple posts, its not so bad. if thats all it takes, and everything is already installed and easy to get working then it probably wont be a huge issue. as i said earlier, it really wasnt the registration and posting to your site that was the real pain... the actual installation was. its extremely nice of john for compiling your plugins into DFX, and i appreciate you allowing the actual components to be bundled now.

Hey, where does vehicle maintenance store information? I looked around for the file but couldn't find it. When I switched to riderunner I lost the past maintenance records and wanted to swap them over.

Yep, there were all saved in the skin.ini till something better came along. Thanks to Sonic, it has now, and will be in the next release.

The new maintenance plugin stores everything in it's onw ini's and the history of completed maintenance is stored in a .cvn (Excel file).

To get your information back, just find all the maintenance items in your old skin.ini, and copy and paste the lines to your new installation skin.ini.

    EDIT:

I forgot to respond to the above.... Yes, there will be an indicator for the Voice Recognition Plugin. Actually I have been working on the indicators, and trying to make them more skin wide, and in the same place on each screen ect.

not sure if this is in right thread..anyhow minor issue that gets annoying on long trips..i been using the Garmin for awhile and I switched back to Xp as the overlay don't mesh well with Vista anyhow I set the volume to decrease upon giving direction in the config but this never worked.. I searched for bout a hr but seeing how this could be in the garmin thread or here and there 263 pages and hundreds of thousands of posts its overwhelming.. hint, hint time for a thread breakdown..it would be cool if the front ends adapted a sub catagory type like the main forums so upon entering DFX skin thread it would list threads related to that in columns like GPS Topics, OBDII, blah blah then sort those out by Audio, embedding, Skinning, as Im fluent on this website I visit daily but it can be overwhelming and I could'nt imagine how a noob feels triing to find that key answer among a wide range of key words.. So back to my issue..lol, am I missing some minor command to lower my music audio while my new Stewie's voice can guide me to civilization and then resume the audio after "turn right you bastard"

*update.. i guess indievolume is the key for this trick...as of a thread I found in June..is this the only solution?
