next thing i will hear is John can remote start his car from the house soon.

I tried to add TV button to my menu using BlueZX3's editor.
I added RR Command:
LOAD;AVerTV.SKIN;AVerTV;C:\WINDOWS\system32\AVerTV.exe;!AVerTV_Control
But no button appears in menu.
I also noticed that I lost my volume icons and also volume doesnt work !
what am I doing wrong?
I tried to fix this adding BlueZX3's DFX 4.0 Fixed scrns files which I downloaded and replaced in suggested folder
I also tried to use suggested Solution: You need to install the DigitalFX custom font, "DigitalFX Font.ttf" in the difitalfx/helperfiles/fonts folder.
But I have no fonts folder in helperfiles , I do have it elswhere, but there is no DigitalFX Font.ttf file in it !


All I want is to setup a Tv button and embbed avertv sw to it
And if I succeed , then to try to add phone button and any mobile sw to use my mobile phone through bluetooth.

Please help

sorry guys I just found how to make other menu buttons appear by pressing and holding down any menu button !! so I guess no need to answer on that, sorry again
Do only 2pages of menu buttons appear ?
Anyway my questions about volume icons dissapearing still need an answer
One more thing, How can I make avermediatv work each time I hit tv button? I read the embed programs post, but I am doing something wrong

Swollen, it's what happens when someone stands on the ankle and it turns over.

It's not too much of a biggie, I have twisted, turned over, sprained both ankles a number of times to varying degrees of severity but luckily never broken. First day and a half are the worst.

Ummm how do you think I turn the CarPC on from here to access it by remote desktop I just remote start the car from here at the desk, wait a couple minutes, log in, do my changes, and then turn the car back off.

Yes, in the last release there are 2 menu screens. In the next release there are now 3 menu screens.

I am not sure what the problem is with embedding the application, as I do not have it here to test, maybe someone else can assist.

As for the volume icons, they are actually a font. If the other icons on the bottom row are showing up, I am at a complete loss as to what it could be.

I understand what you are saying, but in normal use there are 4 or 5 skins I use a lot, and the rest rarely. From your perspective as a skin creator, everybody's 4 or 5 or more will be different so you would have to put the button on almost every skin.

But for me, once I have your finished product then I can and will tweak it to my own taste, so adding such a button wouldn't be that hard since I've done it before. And, I think it would be easier than trying to use that unused switch location on the steering wheel. Although that would be more sexy...

On another note...

What if we could make the pre commands "Kit", and instead of the beep confirming, a recording says "Yes, Michael"

I mentioned this awhile ago and forgot about it till I reinstalled pc in car..but my weather sattilite isnt correct the date is 8-25-09 for the sattalite.gif from wsi.com, the 5 day and the radar are up to date..even after the I uninstalled Dfx and RR and reinstalled. still does this! I deleted sattilite.gif and then load maps again but still seems to download the 8-25-09 image.. any idea's?

I triied it inside address bar without RR running and sure enough its the Aug 25th image.. they must have changed there address since then.. guess I'll go get the new one. I'll post the link incase someone else asks the same question.

hmm.... you know, that is brilliant. i was pondering where to put a switch too, and this sounds like the perfect place. people wouldnt even realize youre hitting a button to activate the voice control. i could freak them out by telling them its mind-activated... this would be ideal i think... its nice that it raises up a bit so your foot can feel the housing before it pushes down.
