Freakin scary! I was just hopping on to ask this same question. I was spying on John over in the OBD Plugin thread as he showed interest and admitted to having bought an OBD II device. So I figured maybe he decided to skin it...

I decided to go with the dancing girl because I dont think I have ever seen it used, and frankly in what situation would you? So there it is, I did it..I posted the little dancing girl, and we can all sleep better knowing it has been done.

As for ODBII, personally can not use it After my wreck, I switched to driving another car, and purchased a 1986 Fiero to restore. It does not have an ODBII connector.

Luck for you guys, I started on the plugin skinning prior to the accident

Front End of Choice: Ride Runner (Is there anything else??? ) & Powered by the DFX5.1 Skin Available in the Mobile App Mart

Just thought I would share: My main car G35 has my primary car computer with a touch screen and all the works. My 10 year old Sentra needed something but I cant afford a touch screen for it right now. I have a 10 year old Dell laptop that I have put to use. I spend most of my time in this car, I have a 112 mile round trip to work and this car gets excellent gas mileage, so I have been playing with a vnc from my pocket pc to the computer. I have created a skin from DFX 4 to fit the vnc'd screen size of my IPAQ.

Thanks for the help John, yes I believe those are the codec's I have.
I still have problems for some reason, RR hangs some times, I have to close it
with the task manger and it leaves the codex running at the bottom of the task bar.

    I have:
K lite codex pack 5.1.0, I also have divx codex, ac3 filter.

There are three codex/filters/scripts? running while playing a video. Is this normal?
FF video decoder and FF audio, and Haali media splitter these three continue to run after
a forceful RR shutdown, Only way to get rid is to restart. (that I know of??)

I'd Like to personal welcome Scott here as it's his first post and he is already learning skinning and stuff all from the DFX thread. I know him personally. He has heard me repeatedly remind him about the helperfile now for the fun part
Scott that's a issue with your PC. That would'nt typically be in this forum..lol. You can try a newer version, although I can vouch the 5.13 does work with Vista without an issue. The newer version of winamp did seem to work with RR for me. You can try downloading a different link maybe the file you downloaded is just currupt. try http://www.oldversion.com/Winamp.html
if that dont work try the 5.112 or possibly the 5.2 ver. also try installing 5.13 in safe mode maybe there a hidden problem you encountering and safe mode would only load the basics processes and then you mmight get it through..I had luck on stubborn software this way.

cool I'm not the only one in the dark on phones.

btw: Speaking of compatibility. I just found a 25$ elm 327 -> usb reader. Ordered it up, but it's in china so they said 7-12 days to ship! I'll let everyone know if it works. I figure I've wasted more on less before and 30$ to find out can't hurt.. right :/

here's the product link if you're curious
