DFX 4.0 was originally done with the standalone exe in mind, not the RRPlugin.

I know John did some screens for the RRPlugin, but not sure if he ever released them.

John, I know that is a little bit late, but can you add a button to add the current played song to one of the virtual disks?

There is one currently. It's in the audio player scrn "Song To Disk" button.

I've managed to rip a cd onto the hard drive, and get it to show the album art, and hide winamp on load.

Some Retail CD's have something else on them, like a macromedia file or something. For instance (sorry for the random music selection, I don't even really use CD's anymore!) 2 Reliant K cd's and a Linkin' park cd load a little flash file outside rr that wants you to go to their website, nothing else. Nothing auto loads in RR and I can't find a button or something to get it to search D:\ for a disk, though the computer recognizes a disk was inserted. If I put in my System of a Down CD it autoloads just fine in rr (no flash program). How can I fix it so that any CD will autoload correctly? I DID change the autolaunch.ini from E:\ to D:\, and this is what it says at the end of the autolaunch.ini code

Currently the autoplay function of XP is set to Take No Action, if that makes a difference.

I still haven't been able to figure this one out. If I try to explore the bad CDs in XP, I can only see the autorun file, movie file, flash file. None of the mp3 or wav or whatever they are. When I insert the CD, winamp outside of RR can see the songs on it and play them- but the winamp in RR can't/displays "1."/ plays the first song in my browser. The CD does say loaded in the changer. Hitting Play CD doesn't work, though hitting Eject does. What am I missing?

I've tried to provide every detail possible so that someone can help me fix this in one clean shot

Indeed, it wasn't intuitive to me to click on the CD symbol. I was looking for a load cd button or something. Found that nugget in a post using 'play cd' as keyword.

Do you have windows set to show All files. I cant remember if windows hides the *.cda files that are on a Normal Retail CD. This might be the case and RR Doesn't understand .cda files but WA does.

The CD does say loaded in the changer.

If your talking about the Disk Changer, that has nothing to do with the physical CD in the drive. Those are virtual Disks.

I am having an issue trying to change the logo under dfx4 using ride runner. When I change the logo the skin either freezes without changing it or says changing, however I still have the big white clock there. Is there something im doing wrong...or a way to manually change it??

To all I am a user of Road Runner and DigitalFx, it is all so cool.

I currently use vlc to stream live video from rear facing cameras using the following commandline:

"C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe" dshow:// :dshow-vdev="AVerMedia C038 USB Capture Card" :dshow-adev="none" :dshow-size=""

My question is how would I incorporate this into a Road Runner/DigitalFX button?

Thanks! I did have windows set to show all, but for whatever reason it doesn't show the music files. At least I won't be trying to make it work when it wont!

So if a friend gets in with a new cd, it has to be opened outside of RR and ripped to the hard drive to play it? Kind-of sucks but still workable.
