This requires a lot of editing in the Exectbl.ini and the skin.ini to create the button assignments. You also need menu3 skin files, both the .png (which can just be the same as menu and menu2) and the .skin file, and you need to edit menu2 so that when you hit menu it goes to your menu3 page instead of back to the main menu page.

This is a lot of work over several files. Start looking at the files in the skin folder, and it will become clear what to do.

When you have researched these files and start working, I can help further with specific questions.

I believe that when DFX 5 comes out it will have 3 menu pages, so you might want to wait.

I created a 3rd menu page, and find that I rarely go there, as the 16 items on the 2 pages is really enough.

This is a simple fix. You need to change the path in the ImageViewer Config file to point to the folder where you have your pictures. The Config file is found in "RoadRunner\ImageViewer". Change the line "Init_Path = G:\Pictures\" to wherever your picture folder is. For instance: "Init_Path = C:\Documents and Settings\My Documents\My Pictures"

    Hope that helps

    Foobar Problem

I wasn't sure where to post, since my problem affects foobar, digitalfx and the rrmedia plugin.

It seems like the RM_ADD1 command doesn not work when using foobar as the player. On winamp it works perfectly. Specifically on the RM_Media.skin screen (the one you browse to by clicking on the "Browser" button on either the playlist or the player screens), the button labeled as "Add Sel", seems to have no effect when foobar is setup as the music player for Riderunner. Using winamp, it works prefectly fine.

Does anyone have any clue? Is it a known bug? I've searched around and I got no clear answer. It looks like a fix was announced before some moths but I'm not very sure.

I'm using the latest version of anything mentioned, except from foobar, which was tested using versions 0.9.6.6 and 0.9.6.9 on two machines under windows XP SP2

Propably you're right. But then again DigitalFX and RRMedia and so heavily bound together!
If an Admin believes it's a mistake, my apologies and please move it!

DFX & RRMedia are not bounded together code wise by any means. Its just the fact the John heavily helped to do a ton of testing as well as integrate into the dfx skin.

That's in a nut shell is correct. At RRMedia's release time, WA was the only available media player. I have already fixed this in the 1.3 version.

Sorry, English is not my native language and in fact, though i can express some thoughts in English, I don't know if I'll ever be able to "think" in English. Anyway, i didn't mean that they're bound together programmatically at least but DigitalFX is maybe the major "consumer" skin of your plugin (or is that major skin period?!)

So, is the 1.3 version released somewhere we can get it? Winamp is a no-go for me, since I'm facing impossible-to-overcome problems with its ASIO support. Foobar is excellent in this aspect!

Thanks a lot for your reply!

ZOIKS! I have been busy working on another project, the Car...

I have been working on the skin a little bit here and there, just no like I was there for a while almost every waking moment that I was not at work or sleeping.

Also, Mitch has offered to create the installer for the release, so that is one thing off of my plate. But, More so, it will ensure that things are all correct to work well with the latest RR release. Thanks Mitch! I will be contacting you when it is ready

Ok all that translates to .... i don't need a third page. i thought it might be something semi simple... at this point i dont need a 3rd page lol. Thank you very much for the time and help tho.
