I like it a lot! You should see if john would be interested. Or make a plugin. I really like the idea of having all the maps in one interface! Nice work. Now if only I could get google navigation like on my Android phone to my carpc I'd be a happy guy.

thanks, well the beauty is that it is only a webpage, You just drop the html into firefox and it loads no need for a server! If there's a way to fullscreen firefox in DFX it's about all you need. Handy part about that is, no need for a google key if you just load it in firefox too :)

I just discovered that google added the Gdirections() method to the API so while it won't be voice announced I'll add the directions to the page option.

I'm also tinkering with getting the radar to animate, which is a challenge.

I hold no claim to the code, It's 95% hacked together examples anyway, if anyone wants a copy pm me.

Depending on the picture format, you could do what dfx radar maps have always done. that is using a small cmd line util, convert the pics into a swf file to be played using a flash object definition.

Unfortunately that would mean working outside the google maps API and then shutoff maps and other stuff. Which is really my goal to not have to revert to static content. I want to glance down as I'm driving and see what the weather's like ahead and traffic accordingly.

Hi all,

I download the DigitalFX 4.0 and install to my notebook, It hang when the process in 22%

I try to kill this process and run the program again, but the problem still shown.

My antivirus kept complaining that fixflash.exe was a virus and it would stick at 22%. Once I disabled that and the anti-spam thing and closed media center (for some reason) it completed the install.

I apologize if this issue has been raised earlier, but this thread is 300 pages and search is giving me nothing. Has anyone else had an issue with the video feature? On my install, after several seconds, the control interface disappears and nothing I can do touch wise will bring it back. All button presses make a black box with green text saying "FULL" pop up briefly in the top left corner. Pressing escape on a keyboard brings me back to the skin's home screen, and if I hit video again, the video resumes where it left off. Any ideas?

Thank you very much, my antivirus don't show anything to me, but when I unload it, the program installed successfully.
