Heh, I just got my new ITX mobo in today and updated RR on it. I'm happy to have the truck pc running again but I guess the ilist format changed or something as it seems to have broken the DFX4 ilists again. If I ever get time I guess I need to learn to skin so I can fix em myself.

edit: In retrospect.. it could be my box. The old one kept powering off and the rr.ini apparently got corrupted so it created a new one. ilists might not be enabled. I know a crapload of other stuff doesn't work now either. Time to wipe and start from scratch :/

I believe John's Fiero project is probably his highest priority right now. My guess is that he'll return to DFX after that is complete, hopefully in the not-too-distant future.

I'd say that would be a fairly good guess, among other things. I have just lately, been trying to slowly work thru the skin to find things that might have been missed, while John is busy. So, its not completely NOT being touched/worked on.......

I thought I saw the answer to this but after searching for it for some time I can't seem to find the post. When I update to the newest RR, the song, album and artist area as well as the time for the song on the main menu are all blank. If I hit play and then press the menu button they load. How can I fix this? Also DFX used to load up in about five seconds. Now it takes well over 30 seconds. If I go back to an older version of RR, say back in November, it loads up super fast. Any ideas what's going on?

Well, you're talking about a lot of time between those and with that comes lots of code changes. One thing that could help would be a debug log from each version. Course, running the latest flash

I know, what I mean is that every version of RR since then does that to DFX. I didn't just jump from say October to April. I am also running the latest flash and have the latest RRMedia and have reinstalled Winamp. I also forgot to mention that the playlist doesn't get saved either. Whenever I close out of DFX and come back in it always plays from the first song, instead of where it was at (With 20,000 some songs in my playlist this is terribly frustrating).

You have to remove the "KillWinamp" cmd from the exectbl file, b/c john had it kill WA on exit preventing RR from saving the playlist data. He has been yelled at quite a few time on that already..
