I'm also putting together a patched 4.0 installer that will become 4.1. This will add the fixed screens from the second post(ilist problems), removal of the notorious "KillWinamp" issue, and set the P&H of the "Playlist" button in the audio screens to go to the full screen playlist screen.

These probably should have been fixed in the installer by now.....but you know....

Hi Blue, sometime ago I mention to you about a plug-in for Winamp called Streamripper which i believe you used at some point. Have you or John thought of embedding a record (on/off) button for the internet radio screen for the new DFX5? This option will make the internet radio experience really shine! Especially if ya' use a service like this: http://www.autonetmobile.com/ ............... Just a thought. Thanx.

hey guys, have a question. I semi recently installed windows 7 on my set-up and no after a few uses rr doesnt make sound. That is to say all looks as though it is playing a sound however no noise to be heard. If i back out to windows all play's fine. So i reloaded rr and dfx 4 works for a couple days and again same problem. I am still new at this and am at a loss as to what may be happening. It is the newer (To my knowledge) version of rr. It was proabably late feb early march download. Can anyone help me out, driving me nuts and i need to fix this to continue adding on the other fun stuff like gps and obd thanks guys oh also worth noting may be that i have rr using windows media player to play not win amp (I hate it with a passion) any thoughts?

since posting i am setting my rig back to xp i hope that this will fix the problem but i really prefered win 7.

I removed the "KillWinamp" cmd from the exectbl file and still it doesn't save the playlist. It does the exact same things as before. Any other suggestions?

A while ago (DFx3?) I used to have problems were WinAMP would like to stay running after exiting RR causing that subsequent instances of RR not being able to communicate with Winamp and you ended up with multiple winamp.exe running. I thought DF4 was killing WinAmp only when starting up to help work around this problem.
If Winamp is being killed maybe you need to find out why it stays running after exiting RR. If you run winamp standalone you could find that is displaying some confirmation dialog window before actually exiting. It could be just a matter of selecting "never display again"

I have updated to the latest ver of RR ( 04-01-2010 ) and now the weather is not working...
can some 1 pls help me...with this error

WEATHER FEATURE not installed.. Pls Rerun RR installer and select the Weather option.....

OF COURSE i have done this 3 times but still am not able to get thru....

Weather is now a plugin, rather than in the core code.
