Here is a screen cap, not completely finished, but everything on this screen is working so far:
Notice that the toggle buttons match the color you can set for the "bar color" in the color chooser screen
this is just great feature.
well, i would like to add some sexy lady's voice saying "WELCOME BACK"
John, I'm so happy that you're not getting rid of or changing the lower buttons, I love them even with my steering wheel buttons I still love them.
Thank You for keep up that outstanding work!!!
Blue you too. Thanks for all your effort on DFX5, you both guys rock
Sorry if this has been discussed, I searched for a bit but couldn't seem to find it. I am trying to determine two things:
A. How can I assign a specific program to run by pressing a button? I want assign the "engine" button to open this program http://ssm.codeplex.com/wikipage?tit...ringTitle=Home for Subarus. I don't mind doing a bit of manual work, I just don't understand how to modify skins.
B. Failing that, where is the list of "external" applications stored so that I might add this and some other programs to it?
Is there a readme or something that I should be consulting for this info?
Download the button editor in the 2nd or 3rd post in this thread.
It is a GUI written by BlueZX3 that makes it very easy to add a button by giving the name you want to call it, what command to run when pressed ect.
john, just curious, is there any updates to the music browser? i dont know about anyone else, but sometimes its hard to hit what songs you want because the list is just a little small.
also, i wonder if im even using it as designed. the way i do it is hit MUSIC, then hit Browser, then scroll to the artist i want, then hit the SEL button on the side. once i find an album i want, i then hit "play selected" in the top right. this is the easiest way i can figure, but like i was saying its hard to click on that list accurately sometimes.
You can however, open the RM_Media.skin in a text editor and find this line:
Where the "20" is at the end of the line, change it to 25 or 30 to increase the font size for the list.
So what are you asking/telling? Yes, that would be how one does that using those steps.
