    Yes, i do exactly.

and i dont find any changes in the buttons, its just like before.
I want to embed a programe for obd i.e. TouchScan. I read the how to embed an application in RR FAQs, but thats on higher level than my understandings.

Actually I think Neospeech's "VW Julie" is the best....It's their newest voice. I have them all my on my comp. The website doesn't allow you to change pitch or speed though to get a true feel of the voices...

Wow, you aren't kidding! I had not yet heard the "Julie" voice. It is very very good!

I have been using Text to Speech voices for quite a few years in my home automation setup. It announces people at the door, weather ect ect...

I think I found a new replacement voice to install

I have been plugging away all afternoon on updating the help file to cover new features in the skin and such. Is a long tedious process to say the least

Well we are all eternally grateful, and hopefully people will see all of the hard work you (and Blue) put into 5.0 when it comes out and compensate you generously. I know I can't wait....

Ok, the daytime / night switcher function is now working as expected

If the toggle in the global settings screen is set to automatically toggle, at sunset, the screen will auto adjust to the color scheme you have set.

This can all be set up in the color chooser screen, as well as setting the wallpaper to a day/night version of your choice.

This is an example of the day settings, when sunset triggers the change:

NOTE: when the colors change, it will remain on whatever screen you are on at the time that it switches, and open programs will not be closed, unlike the internal RR day night skins. This does not switch between seperate day and night skins, just the same skin, and changes the colors. An overlay appears over the top of the current skin to let you know that it is changing.

    This is after the change:

thats awesome john because i notice during the sunny days its hard to read the blue with sunglasses on, while at night the blue is really easy on the eyes. i would think my choice color for daytime will be white text on the black skin background.

    Thank you,

John and Blue, just wanted to say thank you for the DFX Skin. I've been using it in all of its versions for years now. Not sure when I upgraded to 4.0, but I couldn't be happier. I just thought today about possibly updating the system. I haven't updated a single thing in over a year! It just works all the time, every time. I'm still running the old Road Runner(not ride runner). So I come on here today thinking "let's see what's new in the DFX realm". Lo and behold a new version coming with many new features! I can't wait to update! Thanks again

But keep in mind you WILL have to be running a current RideRunner version for everything to work. Just can't sit in the past and improve a skin when there are great things done since roadrunner. Will be clearly stated in the installer...

Was running the march 09 release of RR quite well...Updated to the new release and notice that every release after , say, august 09, splits the 3D clock/speedo in half, removing both the top and the bottom of the speedo/clock. but ONLY on the second screen.. Works fine on the primary screen, but the secondary screen (press menu button while in main screen goes to secondary main screen) exhibits the issue...

I trie renaming/removing buttons, thinking it was an issue of things getting 'squished'.... no dice..

Have newest flash, all updates, running win7 Ultimate 32bit...

    Any suggestions?

Here's a quick cut of what it looks like... Except the black area I cut out of the pic is actually the background...... and again, on the second screen ONLY (I know the original pic is from main screen)
