Is it too late to ask for a neural net with a SkyNet uplink.

No rush on that. I think I can settle for the current functions for now!

Ok, there was discussion a few posts back about quality Text To Speech (TTS) voices. I have to admit Julie from NeoSpeech is one of the best I have heard to date!

Just to speak the weather, It is actually a really complicated set of rules that allows the weather to be spoken in a weather report style format. I get all of the variables from RR"s weather, and have to parse and parse, and when done parse and replace more text hahha.

For example, the variable's that contains the current temperature and conditions are simply like the information below.

Light Rain
77

That has to be added into a text array so when it is finished it is spoken like:
"Today, Light rain is to be expected, and the current temperature is 77 degrees."

Now where "Light rain" is, can contain such as T-Storms, Rain Showers ect... It would not sound so good to have it say:
"Today T-Storms is to be expected" Thus the tons of logic in replacing text, and formatting to present/past tenses and so forth.

As I said, lots and lots of string replacements and intelligence built into the plugin.

Wow, I'm amazed how clear that Julie voice sounds, the pronunciation its outstanding. I really believe it is worth it the investment. I'm buying it.

Ya, one thing one does NOT want to do is....is to be talking to john via (Y Voice) while testing the skin and have MS Sam chatting away in the background! John gets very quickly annoyed listening to poor ole MS Sam.... LOL
