You must being just running the program with the button code, and not stating a skin for it to load into. What is happening is it is embedding into the application area in the main menu, defined for the visualizations.
You need to put a command something like this, to load the skin, tell RR the name of the window to embed, and to run the application.
I used the "Games_Solitaire.skin" skin in this example, as it has a full screen application area defined to test with.
LOAD;Games_Solitaire.skin;MyWindowTitle;Full\Path to your program\MyProgram.exe;MyWindowTitle
Ok, the new Text to speech, and speech to text functions of RRSkype by lambosprit are working perfectly! You can speak a message and it will translate it into text to send to a contact. If someone sends you a text message while you are in the car, it will read the message to you.
In the screen capture below, the "Send to John Cruise" shows the name of hte contact you had selected from the contact list when you opened the TTS window.
The key is to get a decent microphone, and train, train, train the voice recognition engine. I am using the Andrea Super Beam noise canceling microphone I got from the MP3Car store. It has worked VERY well with accuracy so far, as you can tell by the spoken text in the screen capture below that it translated.
I want to beta test as well
this really means a pandora's box of functionality if you think about it. couldnt a fusion brain be used with some custom software to recognize voice commands? "turn on running lights"... "open the trunk"... ect. and as soon as the manufacturers add auto-drive to their trim packages it could be "drive to the liquor store and then to my buddy's house". all from dfx5!
