Yes that's terribly sad. My condolences are with you and your family.

Now simply say "Turn on the lights" and it will toggle Digital out 1 relay, and poof your lights are on

well holy crap. i need to figure out a secret 'talk' button. i was thinking about doing what you suggested months ago, and use a footswitch... but if there was a way to push that button without the passengers knowing it could be a lot of fun. just think... "lock doors" and watch their scared faces hahaha

no no even funnier, write a script to unlock, pause and then LOCK the doors, and play the HAL 2000: "I'm sorry dave, I'm afraid I can't do that"

You need to put a command something like this, to load the skin, tell RR the name of the window to embed, and to run the application.

I used the "Games_Solitaire.skin" skin in this example, as it has a full screen application area defined to test with.

    LOAD;Games_Solitaire.skin;MyWindowTitle;Full\Path to your program\MyProgram.exe;MyWindowTitle
I tried this with the solitaire skin and the engine skin. Both seem to open the program fine except that they return the following error when I try to click on any of the program buttons:

I have a feeling this has more to do with sawmill than with DFX 4.0, but strangely enough it works fine when it get's stuck up at the top of the screen with no skin specified (only I can't see any output). Any suggestions? The "sawmill" program comes with two different modes... a fullscreen "UMPC" mode and a windowed "laptop" mode. Both exhibit the same behavior.

There are some programs that just do not like to be grabbed and embedded by other programs, I am sorry, but have no clue as to how to fix it.

I see Sawmill has some visualization looking graphics and such, but are you mainly interested in the screen that you captured? If so there is a OBDII Plugin for RR that will display that information and more. You can display what info you want, where you want it, and how large you want it ect.

There are even some flash gauges floating around that you can embed in the skin to display info from OBD II as well.

    voice activation

    John,

can you confirm if voice will be activated by a mechanical switch, or if the system will wait for a certain command?
