Ok, I can't seem to leave well enough alone hahah! I was thinking it would be nice to see what color themes you had set for day and night modes, so I put some indicators together. Notice on the screen capture below the little moon icon, and the sun icon on 2 of the themes. This simply marks which one you have set for your daytime and night time colors.

Now that Day and night color switching is going to be a very easy feature to setup and use, I figured there better be a way to control it

There are 3 settings for when to switch from day to night / night to day colors.

You can choose to have it "fully automatic" & calculate your sunrise and sunset times based on your GPS location.

Secondly, you manually enter a latitude and longitude for those without GPS, and it will calculate your sunrise and sunset times.

Lastly, you can choose a manual Sunset and Sunrise time as to when to switch from one setting to the other.

(The red arrow on the left, and white border around the section show that is the currently activated option)

carputer1. I am running Win7 ultimate with the updated RR. I am also using MPC. I went back and ran the Carwings skin and all the videos played fine....Lost at this point. I would rather not use the default skin if I don't have to

well as far as i'm aware dfx dose nothing special to Video, its basically the same setup as Carwings ,,,,,

I have been messing with it againg this morning. I have not changed anything but it will let me change videos if I use the next button but if I browse videos and select play is when I am getting the error. I did reinstall everything and havent changed any settings except for path locations.......

keep in mind, VLC is all software based decoding....
if you have a modern motherboard, with hardware supported decoding
for video... VLC would not be a wise choice
you would want a directshow based player
and of course proper codecs, that use the hardware!
win7 its easy, xp...well.. no so easy.. but
mpeg4 and such... divx 7's decoder pack supports DXVA hardware acceleration
mpeg2 you will need another decoder

rr's, built in video is a good choice, also
MPC (when properly set up)
WMP is also a fine directshow player

got mostly evrything working great now....Only one problem left- when browsing my videos if I selct one and hit play that is the only time I am getting an error now. I can double click the file and it will play fine....I can even use the next button on the player and the videos work fine just when using the play button........................
