We are not taking any more testers, sorry... We have 6 now and most if not all are very seasoned RR users.
well i think my carpc is finally stable. its only been a year that ive had it... ugh.
what i did was remove my cheap trendnet pci wifi card and replaced it with a linksys pci card. then i also determined that one of my usb hubs was likely causing issues too, so i removed one and now i just use one 10-port usb hub and the rest of the stuff is plugged right into the motherboard.
i finally have had a full week of zero issues at all. no hibernation problems, no speed or pausing issues... nothing wrong at all. dfx4 is working as it should, and its a heck of a lot of fun again.
cant wait for 5! next weekend if all goes right i see....
Yeah I dont think I'll ever call my system stable...
It works great for 2 weeks and then boots fully instead of coming out of standby. I attribute a lot of issues to my PCI Sound Blaster Live card on a flexible pci riser (bumps in the road dont agree) with KX drivers. I am replacing this week with an ASUS Xonar low profile. Great it's finally up to par, I think DFX5 will truly turn some heads.
And as of current, 5.0 WILL require the August RR release. We will not be supporting any previous RR versions with 5.0.
Funny O havent yet, my whole car is held together by hot glue
If the is the case...hope you don't have any really really hot days...
