what's special about the august rr release? Or are you just saying it's tested with that and we're not backwards testing?
That's more of a E kinda statement. It's a fix for a long long ago RR bug.
well i did finally try the hot glue trick myself last night. it works so well that i feel a little stupid i didnt try it a year ago (in the first place!)
well, i admit when i glued it all up and threw it back in the car it did not boot up. it would turn on, fans spinning, but no post. frustrated of course, and scared... it was 9pm sunday night and i would have had to live without the computer for the entire week if i couldnt get it to work.
so i took it back inside and took off the case cover and double checked everything. it seemed fine, so i pretty much gave up and just put it back together and threw it back in the car. and it worked! perfectly!
i can even fold the jumpseat in where it rests against the case. i can litterally grab the whole pc and shake it / rattle it around banging it any way i want and it doesnt miss a beat now. i have never had this stability yet, it is absolutely the answer in my situation.
its pretty obvious too, right away. after everything is glued in, it simply doesnt move. i glued the ram, the harddrive cables, and the pci flex riser card. its all rock solid now, and because its hot melt glue it wont be that hard to peel off when i need to as well.
whomever gave me that tip (in some other thread) THANK YOU. its just awesome now. like i said, i cant believe i didnt try it before.

Ok, I am back in town, after an AMAZING weekend! We had a total of 126 cars show up for the "Tyler Shipman Memorial Car Show", with 52 of them being Fiero's! It was amazing as we were all lined up on the freeway headed to Frazee! People just didnt know what to make as they drove by us LOL!
I found quite a few articles online, but this one singled out a friend of mine from Dallas, Texas, and I. I hung out with him FAR TO LONG during the weekend, as you can see I started to talk like a true Texan! LOL They quoted me as saying “We restored that car – right there – in 22 hours”... All it was missing at the end of the sentence was a big ole' YeeHaw!!!!!
Now, to get to work on the bugs that were posted in the bug tracker. There are a lot of them! Now everyone can see why the delay really was a good thing, as I really want to get this cleaned up and as tight as possible.
