Hi All,

I noticed how popular DigitalFX is so I decided to try it. All I can say is WOW!

It's working great with one exception. I can't see the music on my hard drive. I can only see my playlists.
I've gone through the FAQ and disabled ILISTS and I've also searched through the INI files but so far no luck.

If I go to the browser and try to build the music database it says successful but 0 songs are added and no other button in that menu does anything.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Does your music show up using standard browser? There is a browser toggle for standard and databases. RRmedia follows rr's settings for location. Check your rr configuration and the thread concerning rrmedia plugin

I didn't know about the standard browser until a few mins ago. I found it by searching this thread. Yes my music does show up in the standard browser and I can play it but I have to jump through a bunch of hoops.

I click browser, find the album I want to play. Then I have to click "add album" then click "playlists" then play the playlist. Isn't there a way to just play the folder I've selected?

It would also be cool if I could select an album, add to playlist and then save that playlist but I can't figure that out either.

I posted a long reply but something happened. Using database all u asked is easy and possible. Try switching back to database and hitting "up dir " . I know sometimes on a first run of scan nothing shows up in list. Also go to rrmedia thread and download latest plugin. I don't know what version comes with dfx4 installer. It is over 2 years old .

Yea, sometimes a RR restart will show the songs in RRMedia as well. If you can hold off a couple of weeks, the next DFX "Should" be out

Just a small update:

The bug tracker got a LOT of hits with the latest release candidate, and Tony has been working hard to kill the bugs while I was away for the weekend.

I also jumped in today to help, and have fixed a few problems, and still plugging away at it......

A COUPLE OF WEEKS?!? I was so hoping it would be out no later than this upcoming Monday. The anticipation is killing me!

The bug tracker was up to 43 items (not all actual bugs). So I would guess another release candidate, with another week of shakedown and any additional fixes...

A couple of weeks sounds about right.

Better to knock it out now. Will be worth it.
