:) No, I meant attach your exectbl.ini for us to see. I would go back to an original exectbl.ini to make sure that is the problem...

Ok, honestly don't you think you would probably get better results from posting this in the Phoco thread? This is a skin thread, and is intended for issues with the skin, bugs, suggestions and such. This would be the correct place to post this, if for instance a bug, missing command or suggestion on something to add to the Phoco skin.
I do not mean to come across as rude here, that is certainly not my intent. I have just seen so many posts over the past week about hardware & Plugin issues (Phoco, Bluetooth dongles, HDRadio, CDRip, Screenlock ect).
If it is a bug with the skin, or a feature of a plugin is not working correctly with the skin, please, by all means, let me know :)
Just an FYI, the button will be available in the next release to access Phoco as well as Freephone, and no editing of the exectbl.ini will be needed.
Hi John,
In the mean time could you provide the syntax to replace FreeFone with Phoco?
I just built a new C7 rig with a fresh install of RR, DFX3 to replace my laptop as my carputer. I started having the same problem while working on setting up the buttons, CPU 100% or close enough to cause RR to freeze. I tried everything including uninstalling and reloading RR and DFX3. I also tried other skins and found out it happened with them also. seemed to me that as soon as I tried a button that had anything to do with web access then it would lock up and go to 100% cpu. I also have DFX3 installed on my laptop and it wasn't happening to it so I copied my whole RR folder over to the car and it still was happening. the car was in the shop yesterday so I couldn't mess with it but the first thing this morning I fired it up and had to kill the RR process after a min or so then, on a whim I killed Xport and fired RR back up, idle my CPU show 10% average now (was 30%) and never goes over 50%, been running about 20 min now (never got past 1 or 2 before)
I dont know why yet because Xport was configured right and was working, but I do know that I downloaded the latest when I built this machine so I am going to try to install the older version I have on my laptop and see if that helps.
I don't know why but the CPU usage all showed for RR, not Xport, but killing Xport stopped RR high CPU
Ok I never got to the point of loading the older version of Xport yet but while trying to narrow the cause down I found that when I disabled all the outputs except the main RR one, it still froze after a min or so, but now while watching the processes I notice that exec.exe keeps replicating itself every few seconds, i have several of these processes running at the same time. Although these processes don't show any cpu usage, this is when RR goes to 100%
possible bug.. games are not closing upon exit of the screen
My first guess would be to check and see if you have a ziplocate.dll file in your rr folder, if you find it, delete it.
Having several exec.exe constantly popping in and out of the process for dfx is perfectly normal as they are doing some of the backend work for the skin.
Thats just it though, they are not just popping up, they are staying there, I have 100's running at once, of course this could be a symptom of the freeze and not a cause also . My car shut off earlier and I haven't been able to remote back in since, I am fixing to go meet the wife for dinner in a couple minutes so I will pull the old copy of Xport from my laptop when I leave. I know I have ziplocate.dll in the RR folder, but I also have it there on the laptop and it hasn't caused any problems, just the same if its unneeded I will delete if the older version of Xport doesn't do anything.
Here a weird one for ya. ;)
Just installed DFX3 on the car PC and it was working fine....for a while. Now, when I try to go to the music browser, I get this....any ideas?
