I'm pretty sure I have the latest RR. It's dated 7/1/10. If there's anything newer I'd be happy to try it out but that's what I got off the official site.
I updated RRMedia and got the ILIST files off the FAQ. Still no dice.

    Thanks for your help guys.

    Dave
The latest RR version is 08-01-10 and you'll find it here:
    RR 08-01-2010 Release

As John and Blue advised earlier on this thread, DFX5 will require 08-01-10 RR version... so be prepared...

    @ DaveDog

First of all thanks for testing my plugins with DFX5 and posting bug reports.

However not all bugs maybe Skin related so if possible could you also post any bugs found in the relative plugin thread and I might be able to advise

Station graphics are a separate download from the RRGas download thread, these were initially included in the RoadRunner install when it was a native function, but looks like they have been taken out.

In future versions the plugin will check my website automatically for the icons if they are missing as and when they are required and then download them to the icons folder.

The popup requires the following entries in exectbl.ini

    Code:
    "RRGASSEARCHING","menu;gas_loading.skin",gas.skin
    "RRGASDONE","ESC",gas_loading.skin
    and obviously a gas_loading.skin

    11areg_empty.jpg

Looks like the new RideRunner is more fussy than the older RoadRunner about missing graphic files.

This is my error, If the plugin does not find a 11aregistration.skin in the skin that's running it will copy the default ones from the plugin folder, unfortunately I forgot to change the names of the off, on and over graphics. Should still run once you click the error away.

I have changed this now and will update my installer.

As for the other 'bug' regarding RRUpd8, yes the plugin is a new version and I don't think John has done anything to update the skin for new version, as discussed earlier in this thread.

Seems like the DFX bug tracker is also forcing PI dev's to look and fix any of their PI's that are either incuded w/ the skin or at minimum, contain the support for it...Which just shows that everyone seems to be stepping up to the plate here to help make DFX5 as rock solid at release as possible. We even seem to have user(s) quoting directly from it....

I think that it would not be a bad idea to just keep the tracker after all is said and done, as its been a tremendous help for both testers and the dev team.

    Thanks!

Yes, but normally that 'bug' would have been on the forum and probably in the right place, ie the plugin thread.

I had to go hunting for it, and I only did it because Dave mentioned that he was going to test it with DFX5 and I knew that John had not provided support for the new one, so I was curious.

So while a bug tracker is a good thing, it also can be a hindrance.

Ok, will also post future findings in relevant plugin thread.

Figured out station graphics download, I just didn't search enough.

The taskbar popup did work once I restarted RR, those entries are there in exectbl.ini

the DFX5 RRGas skin looks pretty good.

the DFX5 RRUpd8 skin needs a little work to match up with the plugin.

the DFX5 RRTC skin is in worse shape (looks like DFX3), and I can't seem to get the plugin to work right.
TruckPC - gutted, being used for test setup
BoatPC - All in 1 in cuddy, N7 using VNC on dash, RR
    BlazerPC - Nexus 7 with Timur's USBROM

I don't think John ever got around to doing the plugin version for TrafficCams. At least not properly, ever since WestPalm stopped working for awhile.

I totally agree , for 1 thing all bugs are in 1 place for the all inc in DFX , ok some plugin bugs that really yes should of been reported or passed on to the relevant plugin author

this will save alot of bugs splattered around a thread, , and also keeps the thread pages down , just look at DFX 4 thread over 500 , this would probable 250 if all the bug reports were removed ,

its shame theres no feature in MP3 to allow this sort of thing as a option, (this has been spoken about) or if authors of skins and Plugins are in the postion to do what there own bug Tracker , it will certainly clean up the R forum ...
