Seven legs?
I think not.
How about a picture of a daddy long legs 'modified' with only 5 legs in honor of DFX5?
I thought about that, then I figured People Eating Tasty Animals (PETA) would be after me
My Spidey senses are tingling, I think this week is going to be a good week.

Ok folks, here is about the best demo of DFX that I could toss together real quick. Many, MANY thanks to Jebus for his AMAZING work on the RRVoice, bringing FULL voice control to Ride Runner!
For those that thought controlling a front end by voice would just be a novelty, you may want to re-think that
A few notes first:
1) The screen recorder I am using gets the video slightly out of sync with the audio as the video goes on, thus it looks like some of the commands are being executed before I am finished speaking.
2) It is essential to have a good noise canceling microphone when trying to use voice recognition in the car, where there is a lot of road noise and such. I am using the Andrea mic from the Mp3Car store. I put it through its paces a few months ago when I put a fan next to the mic, blowing the fan on the mic on the highest fan setting. It easily canceled out the wind noise, as well as the noise from the fan.
3) Train the system to your voice in windows, and train some more, then some moreThe more of the sessions you read through for the system, the better it will recognize your voice.
4) Lastly, in the following video, keep in mind that I have over 35,000 songs in my library, and it did not mess up one single time when requesting artists. It is really impressive just how well it works!
So, I present DFX5, using Jebus's RRVoice plugin:
This is just scratching the surface! Just about all of the text on every button on the skin can be spoken as a command. This takes a little getting used to, as you can go just about anywhere, from anywhereFor instance without voice, if you are on the weather screen, you have to go to the main menu, then to music, then press the play list button to view the play list. With voice, from the weather screen or ANY screen in the skin you can simply say "audio playlist".

Ok, almost forgot, this is the mic I am using. In my review of it lower on the page, there is a link to the audio test I was talking about with the wind noise and such from a fan.

Boring.... like soooo yesterday... LOL
That's about as great of representation of all the hard work("HOURS") that we, The DFX Dev Team, and PI Authors could be to show it all working together in one single Top of the line skin.
Nice Video John!
RideRunner...The #1 FE, PERIOD.
