i think its a good idea to stay away from John , he crashies car into a lorry , involved around a stabbing , crashed helicopters mmmmmmmmm
this, which clearly refers to an external soundcard and makes no reference to noise cancellation technology. Your review appears under this product and contains a reference to noise cancellation.
There is another bundle in the store shown here, which has an adapter, specifically references noise cancellation and does not refer to a sound card. I believe this is the one Jebus is using based on his earlier post. Are you sure this is not the one you're using? I'm asking this to be sure that I and others who may be relying on your earlier post do not screw up and buy the wrong thing.
Ya, that might be a good idea as they might have a buying spike when DFX5 is released...hehe
She said that is exactly the type of thing that the MP3Car grant is for. For those that haven't heard, they put a grant in place to help developers create new app's, hardware, software and such. The grant can be in the form of software, hardware, and even cash in some cases.
So, the bottom line, Jebus, contact Heather at Mp3Car, as she wants to hook you up with a copy of Windows 7 to further develop your plugin.
I think that is really cool that they are doing that to help the community!
That is what i have currently in my car setup... mouse wheel is my vol and the middle click is used for different things via diff hold down time using girder....
Ok, I just got a reply back from MP3Car:
This is the USB device that comes with that mic:Hi John,
This is the mic bundle we sent you: http://store.mp3car.com/ProductDetai...4&Show=ExtInfo
It does include the USB sound card in the picture (but this is not pictured in the product description) and the microphone as well.
It does not interfere in any way with any sound cards on your system. It adds itself as an entirely different legacy device in device manager.
This way you can use the Andrea with voice recognition, and also can use a mic plugged into your regular sound card for recording something else, such as forward / rear facing camera's without any conflicts between the two.
