For a couple of reasons I mentioned it would be released by the end of the month. Also, there is nothing in the October release that the skin relies on. A couple features do require the September and later RR version though.

OK, I know that this thread is old and we have DFX 5 for more than a year. For various reasons I still use DFX 4. These reasons are:

- crappy hardware (Samsung Q1U) - I really don't need new functions since I won't be able to use them anyway...
- I have DFX 4 translated to Polish and don't want to do the translating again...
- a few years ago I made a skin to use most popular GPS software in Poland - AutoMapa - in DFX. And now all I remember is that it was a real pain to make it. I don't want go through this process again...
- if it's working fine, why to change?

Well, that's it. Today I upgraded RR to 01/2012 to get rid of the reminder screen. After starting it I realised, that DFX lost the ability to read ID3 tags. The titles won't show in neither on the main screen nor in GPS skin (made by me). I can still see file names in browser and on the playlist. RRMedia & Winamp combination works flawlessly. The only thing that has changed is RR version. Is there any way to fix this issue (newer RRMedia? Winamp? Plugin?) or do I have to upgrade to DFX5?

depending on how exactly old your winamp version is...you should now update as we no longer say to use one particular one, newest is always now recommended.
