Does anyone have any recommendations as to text colors and backgrounds that look better during the day?
I run the amber colored text because it matches my interior lights, but it doesn't look that great during the day.
Thanks, I will correct that. I have a lot of work to do on the help file actually
The reason it's pegging your system is flash related. Look in the FAQ's or about 10,000 places on the forum for flash issues.
In the mean time, you can open the skins folder/games and delete the screenclean.swf file. If you may want it later, just rename it. That was put in as more of a cute prank than anything else
Ok, Blue brought to my attention that a new slider code was implemented in RR that was pretty much unknown. (Like I needed more things to work on!) Anyhow, I was toying around with it and like the looks of it, so it will also be in the next release. Here is a screen Capture of the Audio Player screen, with the visu running over the album art, and the new progress slider at the bottom. The blue bar shows the progress as the song plays. I had to create "bubble area's" around the time labels, as blue font on a blue bar was a bit tough to readYes, of course there will be a multitude of colors to choose from for the bars to suit individual tastes.

How did I miss that thread?
I'm as bad as a noob sometimes.
is there a way to adjust the transparency percent? I could not find it anywhere. I would like a little more transparency. perhaps more opaque durring the day for better contrast and more transparent at night for better appearance?
also, i don't know if it's been said already (thread too long to read through) but if a song is not rated, the star graphic shows the rating for the last rated song that was played. It does not go back to zero stars.
wut.. somebody making fun of my post...... Hmm... it does have a lousy title... but it got the job done
I tried most of the colors they suggested.. They all work nicely, but i decided to go with orange... It just looks too cool in night time... Plus it's retro...
Machinehead, if you wanna toggle the font color and type instantly with a single click... this might help...

I use light green and orange on black background... works well... I am happy with it...
I tried the green theme and it didn't look any better than the amber.
My biggest issue is the polarized sunglasses I have, depending on which way I tilt my head the screen will go from totally black to very bright. Stupid polarized sunglasses.
