1. how is it not sized correctly? can we get a screenshot. Also, John has included many different options to fit iGuidance into your screen to your liking. There is an indicator on the GPS page. Have you set Iguidance to native in RRConfig?
2. are you using XPORT or GPSGate to split your GPS ports? are the GPS ports lower than 9? make sure you are not using the same GPS port for both RR and iGuidance.
how about you go test inside the car now. then that will let you know that it will not work using RDP. I would use VNC if i were you. www.realvnc.com
make sure your background pics path is correct, can change in the config or ini...ie...C:\Program Files\Road Runner\skins\DigitalFX 3.0\DFXBACKGROUNDS
PEOPLE... YOU REALLY NEED TO READ JOHN'S HELP FILE AND SEARCH THE THREADS. The last few questions posted here are some of the most common problems (easily found if you would just look)
Like crooked toe said..you need a com port splitter (xport or gps gate...xport is free)...make sure you assign a port for each app that uses your gps, then setup your app to use that port..make sure IG4 is set to a port lower than 9...if you need more help on this just search for xport..or gpsgate if you will use that.
I believe gpsweather will gather the info directly from your gps unit instead of the internet.. your gps has to be compatible to use the gps weather...I don't know what models support this...do some research on your gps unit to see if it will support weather.
