hi, i like to get internet radio woking in dfx 3.0 skin. i click on buttons - heavy metal,jazz,comedy etc.that are provided but nothing happens ? i also like to add my own radio streams to the collection like led zeppelin radio , rush radio ,beatles radio ,zappa planet,cringe humor just to name a few.there is a file named internet radio in the dfx skin file which has a bunch of m3u(s) i think or pls for winamp to play them, being there winamp files (urls) .how do i get my urls addresses into this dfx skin and rr it work. Thanks a bunch.

First, make sure you have .m3u files associated with Winamp, and not another audio program.

just create an .m3u file with a text editor, and place the url/IP address into the file. Open one of the .m3u's in the internet radio folder in a text editor to see what I mean.

Just a note: There will be a lot more stations to choose from in the next release, and The Beatles is one of them...

YEAP.. i was gonna ask about that too... that sometimes rr doesn't close winamp, endedup up having a winamp processor hanging in the memory.. So, when rr starts nexttime, new instance of winamp having some issue with the one hanging in the memory..... Most of the time, rr will successfully close winamp, but not all the time...
Will this help, having multiple "exit" command on a button, making sure if it's really done its job?

sounds kinda funny.. like a zombie movie... shoot shoot and shoot, until it gets its head brown out or it won't die.....

Although some zombie is fine with headless..

That was it. Working fine now. It was really bothersome because I noticed after posting, that only the album that the current track was in would come back into the playlist so I was losing my on-the-fly list. But it seems OK now. I'll just keep an eye on my proc. list, or better yet, keep using hibernate so I don't deal with it.

And thanks for the head's up on the wallpaper preview - glad to know it's not my configuration. I'll just look thru them manually and pick one. I don't do a lot of skin changing once I got something I like.

Great work John! I've been trying to get this skin working since BlueDevil! It's finally there (IMO)! The customizability of the menu page is what really sold me on it finally.

This has happened to me a LOT during testing the skin. Having to end Task Winamp all the time when restarting the skin ect. I can't beleive it took me so long, but I finally resolved it

When you exit the skin now, Winamp is end tasked

I have been running the skin like that for a few days now, and it works perfectly, with no ill side effects such as drowsiness, diarrhea , sore throat, blurred vision and so forth

cool... now i don't have to have task manager opened all the time, sort it, find winamp and KILL it...

JohnWPB, your work on the software is outstanding. Calling Streets and trips, the buttons are dark, your thoughts on same? Would it be possible to access CoPilot within the program?

Well that was the trick. At least on my test computer. That got it working. Thanks for reading through the posts and responding. I am finding that once you post a question, you might get one or two quick responses but then it gets lost in the vastness of this thread.
