Sirius radio works but I am not getting a station list. Can't take a screen shot right now but there are no stations on either the main full station list or any of my custom lists. I have other minor issues but this is the one I can't figure out.
Justchat_1, Thank you for the constructive criticism. It is far better than the garbage posted from a couple other OM users. You have a very valid point, and this has already been discussed amongst a few people over the past few weeks before the release. It has been my intention since the beginning to give a percentage of the donations to the authors of the plugins that I am using in the skin.
This was never mentioned publicly, as it was not the place to air such things. However with all the discussion here, it is now known to all.
As for just the plugins being the core of the skin, I have to disagree with that a little bit at least :)
The amount of code native to this skin is immense!
The DFX skins have been the very first skins to have many features, that have been copied and are now used by many other skins. I have no problem with that, and love to see the code being used in different skins in different ways. (Have a close look at the CarWings code, you will see 90% of that is based of of the DFX code. Even the Dynamic font color used in it uses the same variable names I created :) )
Firsts for a Skin in RoadRunner:
- First fully transparent skin for RoadRunner
- Ability to change wallpaper from right within the skin
- Dynamic song position bars that the color can be changed to anything right from within the skin.
- Dynamic button and icon changing to match done on the fly done with a list that gives a description of each of the items when selected.
- Weather presets
- Spoken weather forecast
- Advanced dynamic radar screen with overlaid zoom controls
- Radar screen that centers on your current GPS location.

- Slacker Internet Radio
I have also worked closely with a lot of plugin authors, to beta test, suggest ideas, work out bugs, make improvements, and incorporate the features into the skin. RRMedia & RRVoice are 2 plugins that were first to be fully incorporated into the DFX skin.
Those are just the RoadRunner "firsts"
There there are tons of other features that have been custom coded over the past few years for the skin.
The plugins are a fantastic addition to the skin, and it would not be the same without them by any means. But many of the features of this skin are done "in house" so to speak :)
Hmm I am not sure on that one. I do not have Sirius hardware here to test it with. A user some time ago said he tweaked a few items in that skin, and sent it to me. I thought that it was working. If anyone else is using Sirius radio, can you confirm that it is working or not?Quote:
