Well, we don't know how many of you there are, every time one comes out of the wood work, there seems to be a new one...this is mostly b/c we don't typically venture over to that part of the forums..

Sorry I will retreat back to that part. After all this time I still forget how humorless this place can be.

I can confirm that sirius doesn't work at all now on mine but I updated both to DFX5 and the september RR release at the same time so I don't know which broke it. Hindsight is 20/20 or I'd have done one and tested first. Sigh.

I'll try adding that line to my sirius.skin here in a few when I go pick up a friend from work and see what happens.

How do you keep DFX from beeping every time I push a button? I didn't see this in the help menu.

I don't think it is a lack of humor really. You use an entirely different front end, a nice one I may add. The all of a sudden everyone from the OM project descends and posts in a thread that really has nothing to do with that front end at all.

It would be like a Honda guy posting random stuff on a Corvette forum

This is not the first time, I see OM posts in threads everywhere unrelated to the topic at hand most of the time.

I have not hard coded any paths(bad coding!), for reasons like this...

Go in the skin.ini and turn on the inet PI debugging to help narrow what is causing the issue. InetRadioLabels_Debug=True, then attach the two debug files you'll find in the inetradiolabels plugin folder under RR's plugins folder, and we'll go from there..

In the DFX skin folder, open the exectbl.ini and find these lines: (Line #34)

Just put a / in front of the line, like this:

/"ONBTNPRESS","PLAYSOUND;$SKINPATH$ButtonPress. wav"
"ONBTNHOLD","PLAYSOUND;$SKINPATH$osk.wav"
"PRESETSAVED","menu;Preset_Saved.skin||PLAYSOUND;$ SKINPATH$osk.wav"

save the file, and no more beeps when buttons are pressed.
