I think you would append whatever command is causing FD to disappear with ||SHOWWINDOW;FreeDrive;True

trouble is it's when I use FDMENU.

ie if I tap on the map freedrive can now switch to a RoadRunner menu, but when this menu/skin loads up it doesn't load freedrive into it.

In otherwords it is not a button in a RoadRunner skin that does this, so i have no command to append it to.

oh tghats what i feared....

Maybe CDR can change the command that FD sends to something like "FDMENUCLICK" and we can then map that in RR using ExecTBL....might make things easier so you can customize the action of FDMenu

The Fdmenu works great if you want a menu to pop up over the map like destinator does normally (just tried by having the FDmenu.skin copied from the volume.skin ) and I suppose I could still have the menu pop up down the side, but it would cover up part of the map and the FD skin would not then be centred in the viewable area.


What we need is an option to have FD send a command to RR to load FReedrive into the new skin.
