I have tried to use the alpah blend technique to make a visualisation semi transparent so that I can lay it on top of the media player. Just was wondering how to get rid of the bars around the AVS visualisation i.e:

I am using the Winamp 2.90 base skin - is that the classic skin?
Is their an option to remove the bars around the visualisaton somewhere in AVS config? I don't seem to be able to see anything....

You shouldnt be having any issues with the older ver of winamp, check in RRConfig.exe and make sure you have the right vis window selected, AVS.
Fixed now. You were right, liquid_smoke the correct visualisation windows was not selected in RRConfig.

Thanks, I have'nt seen the "attach to nothing" option for the window plugin.
