thanks buddy, dont spend too much time on that though, the other stuff is more important IMO. The latest version has some speed issues, i had to go back a version
but its cool you got it in, ill have to re-release the skin when the new version comes out.

hey everybody,
its about 1:00 chicago time and it looks like its NOT going to be released tonite
Did a little testing in my car and for some reason there is something seriously wrong with my menu screen, not sure what the problem is because it dosent happen on my laptop at all.
But if there is ANYONE who is still awake and also has made a skin for RR from SCRATCH i need ONE beta tester to take a look at my menu.skin and see if they can repro the problem im having. The problem, for some reason, the keyboard control is jacked, but only on the menu skin and only with my skin. This is critical for me and i assume many others too who navigate with the keyboard or other methods that emulate a keyboard.
Ill be up tonite trying to fix this, thanks to anyone who can help

unsure what time it is there, but i'm up.. also just a question.. r u running the same version in your car as you are on your laptop, thats caught me out before now.

its pretty late here right now, and to be honest i dont even feel like going out to my car right now. Im running the same version in both locals, so im not sure what the problem is, and only seems to happen on the menu screen. Im about to go to bed and figure this out tomorrow.

ok, if i can get some people to test this out for me.
This is not the full skin, just one of the two main menu's
What im looking for you to test is the keyboard support.

When you click the left and Right arrow keys on your keyboard, does the selections change on the menu OR does the mouse move to the bottom left corner and stay stuck there/no menu selections happpen from keyboard.

To load the skin, make a copy of any current skin and copy the files from the zip into the skin folder, also copy the fonts found in the zip but not needed for testing purposes.

also note, this menu isnt the full menu, some elements like the playbuttons, only show up when music is actually playing (you will need the full skin for this to work)

Here tested without problems... Keyboard support ok. I can navigate the menu with the Left & Right arrows keys.

hum, thats odd, there must be something weird going on with my setup in the car.

Thanks for testing this out, i can stop wasting time trying to figure that out.
Well maybe not as i still have to fix it in my car

But the skin should be released for sure today!

I got the same result, left and right arrows navigate through the menu. Also using the latest RR release.

Hopefully your carpc isn't too fragged.
