I tried this with arrow keys (dont have a powemate) on a couple of machines and it works fine. Bear in mind there is a 'hidden' button ie the minimize one in the logo so the indicator will disappear briefly.

Also for the next release I have changes the order of the buttons so that they go in a clockwise or anticlockwise direction, rather than jump across, like they do at the moment.

that definitely sucks.

Im half expect mine to go everytime I turn it on as it seems to be making more creaking sounds everytime.

Have you tried it with the mouse yet?
