Unfortunately not, the promised copy has not materialised as of yet.

BTW have you tried phoco with it?

I should be able to test this week on phoco but would like to know if anyone has had chance to test it yet.

    I have (yet another) request.....

I have finally got my CarPC up and running (on the bench) with my Xenarc and have been installing the software that I want to use. I have also been playing around with your idrive skin on the CarPC since it (and the other CarPC software I have been testing) looks very different than when it was displayed on my 42" 16x9 Plasma TV (although the aspect ratio was good for testing a few things beforehand ...).

Anyway, I was wondering if it is possible to have a full screen option for using different programs. I know this option is included with the DVD/Video player, and I think there are some skins that have it included for use with navigation software. But I think it would be usefull for other programs as well, like Internet Explorer. I am typing this post on my CarPC now and find IE much easier to use when at full screen (for some tasks) than using the smaller screen inside the skin.

    What do you think?

Not had chance to really try the broswer in the car yet.

But I guess it might be easier to see.

Only Issue I would see is the buttons would be too samll as you would only be able to use the IE ones.

Nope, I haven't yet, but I plan too. I did however use iGuidance on my longer trips this weekend. Really is a great peice of software - the routing is worlds better than mapmokey/destinator, something I really had a problem with to the point where it wasn't worth using GPS. iGuidance really picks the most logical route, and it looks pretty good too. Looking forward to getting it integrated, but it does work fine embedded.

BTW I have now had a chance to test the phoco screens, courtesy of Zorro, and the ones already released work.

However I have made a couple of tweaks and will be releasing a bug fix version, which basically fixes the issues that have been mentioned in this thread, tomorrow. (still no iGuidance as of yet though )

You're right, I did. I had captured some and went to upload it and the battery died halfway through. Now, every time the camera turns on, it says "Dew Detected" (???) and won't do anything. Go figure, I need to get a new one...
