Hmmm.

Major graphics changes are on hold at the moment. (although I almost have the red/orange I want for the Night version)

When I get the beta of the skinneable version of my Update/sync program out, I will once again turn my attention to iDrive.

did you ever get the e46 steering wheel to work in your car? Did you have to change the slip ring or anything?

Steering wheel is on hold, as I haven't managed to get the buttons to work through the interface to a PC yet.

Although I've only tried a couple of times. (suspect there is a controller somewhere in the car.)

so this is on the back burner at the moment.

and yes the slip ring is different as is the back of the steering wheel, so I might have to cut a few things.

Actually I have a request for all you BMW owners that have the steering wheel buttons and the IBUS adapter working.

can you connect the adapter just to the steering wheel, and see if that can work with the PC. you may have to source 12V into the mix.

please do this only if you are confident you know what you are doing, I wouldn't want you to damage anything.

E. for some strange reason, in the main menu I can't browse through Entertainment/Navigation/Car Data/.... with the Left/Right keys. Every other menu it works, but not in the main menu...

Now, I don't know if this is caused by RR or iDrive, because I only have your skin installed on the carpc.

btw, on my home computer, this does not happen...

I did, on the home pc, but then a simple restart made it go away...now, on the car pc, it doesn't want to...
Surely, this can't be skin related, can it?

How did you go about doing the iGuidance buttons - how did you get them to send commands to iGuidance? I'd like to play with that skin a little...

@cris, I know there was an issue in the earlier version because when the mouse got 'hidden or 'parked' in the bottom left corner it was in a button area.

I have changed to co-ords of the button to not cover that area. So it sholdn't be a issue in the latest version.

So I have no idea why you are having an issue.

@ DMurray, I think I might release the iGuidance skin as an addon, because another full release is a little while off. Will try for tomorrow. Bear in mind it is only basic.
