Basically this is a bug fix edition.

Fixes.

correct GPS in use shown in iDrive config.

Deletion of tracks from playlist moved to Audio Browser from Audio Settings.

iDrive Skin Configurator

In this release is a skin config.exe, which will change the GPS info source depending on whether you are using FreeDrive, MapMonkey, or RoadRunner and remove them if you are using a GPS that does not support supplying the info to external programs. This also allows to to select which options you have installed (ie TV, Radio, Games etc) and remove them from the menu's if you don't have them.


For this to work you may need to register the file PICCLP32.OCX.

You can either run the register.bat file or from the command prompt type regsvr32 PICCLP32.OCX

Satellite logo takes you to the Navigation screen, unless you are already there in which case it reconnects the GPS mouse
Sun/Cloud logo takes you to the weather screen
Speaker logo mutes the sound.
Touching just above the scrolling Trackname takes you to the audio browser
BMW logo on Menu screen minimize's Road Runner.

question though on this skin, if i'm in XM and I hibernate, when I resume it goes back to the audio browser. How can I change it so it goes back to the XM screen on resume?

I have absolutely no idea.

I don't have XM so I can't test it.

Does it not do the same in other skins?


Could be an RR thing.

Yeah thats what I had thought as well, I tried it on other skins and it doesnt do it, it goes right back to XM.

One other question though, isnt the speed supposed to display up by the number of sats and the street name at the top of the skin? I'm getting the number of sats and the street name, but no speed.

Strange.

I'll have to have a play with some other skins, although I don't have a XM Radio.

E., I've beenusing this skin for a while now, and I just love it. One small suggestion though...because on the 7" screen characters are already barely usable, especially in daylight, in the audio browser skin, I think you should make the part with the characters darker than the other.

Here's a quik chop of what I mean, in the first pic the way it is now, and in the second pic, with the text part darker.

Hmmm.

Shouldn't be too difficult. Might make it a seperate version though.
