i've been trying to figure this out for a while. no luck yet. Very annoying. Would be perfect if it worked. Reinstalled, updated flash, not sure what's next..Other skins work fine, but thisone works fine on every machine but this one.
I've got the exact same problem, works on 3 different desktops ad my laptop, but not on the CarPC. As soon as I touch the powermate it jumps to 'settings' and sticks there. Every other screen the powermate works like a champ. I've been fighting this for a week now, and I've tried everything I can think of. I am using the latest from your link and i still get the problem. I did notice something new though. It's not my carpc at all. It's your skin. I played around with the resolution and saw that the problem occured when I set the resolution to 800x600-on any machine. When I made the resolution higher the buttons started working even on my carpc.
one other thing-you said to fix the bug you modified the pointer position so it'd be out of the way of the buttons. When my screen res is at 800x600 the pointer goes to the bottom left corner and disappears on the Main menu, but if i move the mouse left and right while it's invisible and underneath the buttons, the selectors still moves to the buttons above the cursor. However, on every other screen this doesn't happen. Maybe you need to edit the size of the buttons on just on the main menu so it'd work in 800x600?
also, when i launch iguidance the window doesn't embed into the skin(i'm now just pointing to iguidance.exe. and how'd you get those buttons to work with iguidance?
OK, I've had a play with the resolutions on my home PC and I see the problem.
I have been testing on resolutions higher than 800x600 that's why it seemed to work for me
However I think I have now corrected this issue.
please download the attached new menu.skin and replace your existing one with it.

kinda random question but i have iguidance and i was wondering if i can use the maps i have for them...in Freedrive?..if not where can i get United States Maps..it seems like the front size of streets and directions is alot larger then mine for Iguidance..any ideas?

The iGuidance maps are totally different from FreeDrive ones, AFAIK.

I have a nitpicky suggestion though. Reverse the left and right arrow key commands so Left Arrow will move the selector counter-clockwise while the Right Arrow will move the selector clockwise. This way it makes sense on the powermate (yeah i know i could reverse the keymap on the powermate but IMO it should be switched anyway).
As for iGuidance I forgot to name the window so it wouldn't fit properly. Once I gave it the proper name (iGuidance) it worked.
Not sure how to set up sendkeys. Some direction on that please?
