I think this would be a waste of your talent - for the number of times I need to change my config I am happy to do it outside with a different interface. It would be more valuable to me if you were spending your time working your magic on the skin and skin options that I use on a daily basis.Quote:

Here's a thought. On one of the alternate screens, I have all 10 buttons configured as XM favorites. They are set in ExecTBL as XMCHAN;xxx. This works great, but what's missing on those screens is the artist and title. The channel name is in the top right which is nice. I was thinking of modifying the alternate menus so I can see the same middle section as on the main menu, meaning the condensed playlist and the logo I have on the left. I don't need the << and >> buttons because I have the favorites there.
This probably sounds way to particular to my setup but I find the alternate screens too empty. I can't use visualizations on those screens because my Epia Via cries :( . I did like when the XM channel logo and the artist - title was below it. Maybe just going back to that and having it as an option like you mentioned a few posts back would be a good idea. This will just bring your screen options menu up to 100 alternate screens ;)

Anway, that is a very valid point. The main reason i want to do it though, is to make setup for RR easier and more polished, mostly for new users. Its just one of those things that bothers me. Plus its more than just redoing whats available inside RRConfig.exe. There are quite a few settings in RR.ini that are not available from RRConfig and you have to manually type them into the file which is a HUGE pain in my *** when im in the car.

The Artist name is still in the top right of the menu also. However, when I leave the main screen and go back, it shows Artist - Song3 and scrolls. It seems like there is an issue with updating the current song in the list.
My feelings are kinda mixed here because while I don't mind it, I think I would like it to stay consistent in the list. Not sure if others experience this. Again, I'm not even sure if this a skin issue or a RR issue.
it should only show the title of the song in the list on the main menu, but this maybe an option you can override in RRConfig, not sure.
The top right should show artist and album
The updateing of the info on track change is an RR issue, sometimes it does this but i dont see it happen very often but i have seen it before a few times.

Just want to add a fix to the issue to why the WEATHER - TEMP doesn't seem to work. On line 27 of WEATHER_IMG.SKIN, the word OUT has space between U and T. It should be OUT.
