Thread: LSX (VOID) released

Damn, I totally thought it was a Winamp thing not a RR thing. LS, once again thanks for the help. Once this whole thing is all in my car I am totally buying you some beer!

Question 1:
The current format for XM stations is:
Station # - Station Name - Artist - Title

I really don't care about the Station name so I was wondering how difficult it is for me to edit out the Station Name in the XM playlist so its:
Station # - Artist - Title

Question 2:
I love the ATT button on the main screen but I rather it function as a MUTE button. What is the easiest way to make it work that way?

I was thinking of changing line 6 in main.skin to:
B,228,283,171,71,"!PRESET;ATT||SETVOL;Master;0 ||SWITCHBUTTON;1>>PRESET;ATT||SWITCHBUTTON;1",@REL OADRR@

Would that work? Or can I just do:
B,228,283,171,71,"MUTE"

I haven't tried it yet, just wanted to get your opinions first.
EDIT: The 2nd option with "MUTE" worked.

First. It looks like your close to done, any word yet?

Oh and one more question. I have some of the extra buttons assigned to directly tuning to XM channels. What I find is that when I tune to the channel, the playlist on the main screen remains at the previous channel. If I go off the screen and then back to the main screen with the playlist, it shows me what channel I am tuned to. Is there a command that I can put after the XMCHAN command that will change the playlist to the channel I tuned to with the button?

I wonder if it's just me .... but I can't get any of the buttons to work. I checked my ExecTBL.ini, and I don't have any of the ONSTART lines as described in the first post. I even tried removing ExecTBL.ini entirely from \Road Runner, and that didn't do anything either. I tried installing a brand-new Road Runner and re-running the config and just using that - no luck either. What could be wrong, any idea? The hardwired buttons work fine, and also holding and changing the button function works fine - just nothing happens to it afterwards, still can't use it

[EDIT]: looks like the guy in post #1073, Eternity, was having the same problem in his traditional chinese windows. I'm using a stock English Windows, though with a default locale set to Japanese - in case that helps. Problem otherwise identical.

[EDIT #2]: Problem solved! _language settings_ can be international, but _locale_ MUST be set to English (US)!

Any help appreciated!

Im not sure, ill have to look into it. I dont have the xm hardware so its hard for me to even test this out.

I am close, but yet so far away.
I always have some easter egg items that i dont list on the first page.
I did make a significant addition yesterday though. Should be all down hill from here.

1. not sure if thats even possible for the xm playlist, maybe take a look in RRConfig. If there is a setting for it, thats where it would be.

2.Open the .skin file (in RRSkineditor) for the screen you want to change the ATT button for, and in the button code delete everything and simply replace it with "MUTE" also, just in case you didnt know, if you click and hold on the play button it will mute.
