there may be something that can be done about that. Maybe a special OSK that uses a special font that is filled with asterisks. So whatever you type it will show up in the OSK as * but when you click enter it still will send the correct keys to whatever window.

Not sure why this would be a big issue though, are your passengers peeking at your passwords ?

Make sure you have AVS checked in RR config and save it to exit. The avs visual is the only one set to be transparent (milkdrop is not transparent). Check out this post about transparent settings...

LSX (VOID) released

To access AVS in winamp run winamp and click on the infinity button in the top left. Go down to visualization and click on select plug-in. Select Advanced Visualization Studio V 2.81b [vis_avs.dll]. The "configure plug-in" option can only be used once you have a visualization running and will only configure that particular visual.

Thank you so much, I didn't get to that post yet in my reading through of this thread so it helped alot. Two small problems though. The opacity still seems a bit much so I think if I lower it that will help out. The other problem is that I don't seem to be able to click through. If I click something under the visual it expans the visual to full screen mode and/or brings up the avs editor.

What should my settings be on the spectrum plugin in avs editor? Should I enable alpha transparency and how much? What about overlay? This seems like one of the last configurations I'll need help with.

Great skin LS, thanks alot for it. I anxiously await your day version as I can hardly see this one in my setup haha. Looks amazing at night though.

I have kids That do not need access to my email accounts, I also, have work related email, and corporate VPN connections that I really would like to keep the passwords hidden.

for the transparency, dont set it in the winamp visu config stuff. Dont turn on overlay either.
Open RR.ini and add this line

AvsTransparent=TRUE

Then create (or edit if already present) a file in the ROOT of your RR install named "screensaver.ini" The name is a tad misleading.
The contents of the file should look like this.

FadeOnIdle=False
SecondsToFade=300
FadeInterval=10
DefaultOpacity=70
MaxOpacity=255

This will enable transparency for the visuals and also enable click through so when the visuals are on you can still click the buttons underneath.

its not a bad idea though, i'll see what i can do.

One thing i was thinking about after you posted earlier, the webplugin may have some issues with using vars for fonts etc since the plugins dont have all the features of RR and usually only have the features that are needed for that specific function. But ill def look into this and see what i can do or what needs to be done, either through ha script or other means by me or someone else.

i dont mind mods, looks cool. The transparent buttons on the bottom are what the skin originally looked like before the first release. I ended up changing it at the last minute as the way i really wanted it to work just isnt possible in RR.

my memory is really bad so dont be offended, but i think i only gave the psd to this skin to one person, im guessing that would be you? correct?

ive been doing some things to the main menu myself also, one of the original features i wanted a long time ago but still dont have yet is the ability to change the background from inside of RR. But this requires flash and there really isnt much docs on how to integrate flash and not much help otherwise, so it still remains a wishlist item, along with a few other flash items i would like.

Nope sorry i was not the one that you gave the PSD files too, although i wish i was. (HINT) what i did was take the .jpg file open it in photoshop, make a copy of it and overlay it over the image of the ladie then adjusting the tranparency of the image. It was a way of doing it but if you look closely you will see that some things are lighter such as the online indicator and some of the buttons. But its a start. I liked you skin so much yet i had some down time and was just playing. Keep up the excellent work and i'm looking forward to what you come up with next. If there is anything that i can do to help. I'm not great at any one thing but i like to try.

LS - I have a question and forgive me if it's been answered earlier in this thread..

When my system wakes up from standby the music resumes fine but it seems like whether I'm on the main menu or in the audio menu, the highlight bar does not advance to the song that's playing and highlights the song that was playing when it went into standby until i touch the currently playing song (does that make sense?).
