that makes since, someone else was saying they were having this same or similar problem when they hibernated. Not sure what the problem is, i havent been able to repro it on my end. But its likely an issue thats not isolated to this skin. It may even just be a configuration issue.
Do you have "Highlight current playlist song on change" turned on in RRConfig.exe ?
would it help at all if I made a readme/FAQ/help for your skin? I've been using yours since day 1 for mine. I love it. there's some things that I learned along the way. And well, I like giving back. I'm not promissing the most perfect thing, but something is > nothing. I'm using alot of it. just not sirius/xm/tv/fm yet. using the rest though. TV will be soon. I have the tv, just havent put it in yet.
that sounds good to me, what format would it be in? The only thing i would request is that the instructions be dummy proof. I can also send you what i have now since it would add a lot as far as how to configure things.
i can do dummy proof. I was thinking .txt format. like a regular readme. Possibly could also do it in HTML with pics. either way could be packaged with the dist. you can email me at kireol AT yahoo dot com with what you have
that was me :)

humm, well if it were .txt i would just as well do it myself, i already have a lot of release notes ect in that format. html help file would be cool.

There are also going to be some changes to how RR handles certain files in the next RR release so installing the skin should be simple as pie, no need to edit any ini files etc.
I learn about something new that this skin does everyday, simply amazing, can't wait for the next release, Thanks!
that's what I wanted to write about. that and how to properly set things up and bug/trouble shoot.

Ive already written a lot from each release and try to keep the first 3 threads up to date with each release but i still find my self repeating a great deal of stuff thats already either on the first post or in the read me included with the skin. Its an unfortunate fact that most people hate to read manuals or read me files, but with that said any additions you would create are more than welcome.
Im about 99.9% done with the upcoming release and currently waiting on either the next RR release or a beta (not sure where betas are stored at anymore since the RR download site is in flux). Hopefully there will be an RR release around Christmas as thats when i intend to release the update.
I'm on page 30 of this post (5th time reading through), and getting ideas from it for the readme. I figured it'd be a great place to start.
As I'm reading it, I'm also noting some things that I need to add/update/fix in my own current system :) I'll complete mine and start on the readme. that way I'll have learned more along the way. I'm thinking 1 bug in particular might require me to delete my LSX and possibly RR install and start fresh. And I think that bug is possibly related to another.
When I click the volume up button on either the GPS or audio(probably any volume up in RR for that matter), it makes my windows master volume go from mostly loud to 0. So i can either hit + a million times to bring it back up, or exit RR and load windows volume control and slide it back to max. Pressing "-" does the same.
also, song play can be weird sometimes.
I hit play/pause and it will restart the song instead of pausing, if it's playing.
If i hit playlist, click on a directory, click on a song, it will play the whole directory as a song. (which is what I'd think it would do). But if I go into Iguidance (Navi) say when the first song is playing, then I travel for a while, then hit "close" on Navi, it goes back to whatever song it was on when I hit the "navi" button, like it has some weird memory, or is spawning something weird.
I was originally running an winamp version that I read a post as to that's what you should use (from oldversion.com), but I upgraded to the current version of winamp and that seemed to cure some other additional small bugs that I had.
working on a few of these bugs. reading. taking notes. fixing. etc.etc :)
All of this post was me thinking outloud by the way.
