LS, it looks like you can't have both the LSX Void skin and the main LSX skin installed at the same time because of the ExecTBL.ini file. Although they look close the weather commands are quite different.
Is this a correct assessment?
Thanks,

no you can run them both at the same time.Originally Posted by Zogg
The weather commands are slightly different because lsxvoid uses its own weather commands that are unique. They dont share the same ExecTBL.ini files, they just share the same LSTOOLS folder. So you shouldnt have any issues running them both.

LS,
I have everything working fine except when using GPS, IG covers up the top buttons. (menu,go?,cancel Rt. 2d/3d, route list) I didnt notice I was having this issue unti I was drving and couldn't cancel route.
Hey Smoke i just wanted to say that I am super impressed with LSX(Void)! Such alot of work obviously went into this release. It makes it such a joy to use ones carcomputer.
Oh and to answer the question about the welcome message displaying or not if one has upgraded to the latest version of RoadRunner. YES it displays just fine.
I am running the latest version of Road Runner under Windows XP with LSX Void as my only skin cause its soooo great!
Fresh install of XP
Fresh install of RR in the correct default path c:\Program Files\Road Runner
Fresh install of LSX Void in c:\Program Files\Road Runner\Skins\LsxVoid
Fresh install of iGuidance ver 2.0 NA (not 2.01 NA)
Fresh install of LSXTools in root of Road Runner Directory =c:\Program Files\Road Runner\LSXTools
Dispaly Resolution set to 800x600
Dispay Color Depth set to 32 Bit color or 16.7 Million colors
Hence my issue.
GPS Configuration
Currently -
Option is External GPS , but tried MapPoint Option as well
Path to External GPS is C:\Program Files\Road Runner\LSTOOLS\SB2.9\SKINbedder.exe
GPS Window Name = SKINbedder v2.99999
Map Point Map = North America
GPS Port = 0
Here is what I expereince when I click on NAVI
The iGuidance Warning (Nag Message) is presented and that forces me to have to click or press OK. Thats not supposed to happen as SKINbedder should take care of that. After I press the OK button iGuidance lauches as it should and displays my GPS map and position , etc. GPS is detected on the correct port and shows satalite lock.
I tried lauching the SkinBedder routine by itself and I get the same thing. Nag Message that forces me to press OK.
Q1: How can I get the nag button to be automatically pressed? Is the time interval too quick at 250 milliseconds? I saw a setting in a file for that.
Is the iGuidance 2.0 NA different in some way that is interfering?
Q2: The entire skin is displayed in what appears to be 800x480 as there is a good sized gap of space at bottom of the screen. Do I need to change some setting in the skin or Road Runner to have the skin dispalyed in 800 x 6000 screen resolution? I tried this from within Roar Runners configuration , but it did not change the way it was displayed. This is on my desktop mind you and I have not tested it in car with my LCD. Is that going to make a difference?
Q3: Does anyone have the cleaned up version of the iGuidance executable (with the Menu and Mute Buttons removed) for version 2.0 NA? Link?
Thanks for any information on these topics! Great stuff and I feel privledged to be able to use it!
about to eat dinner, but ill answer the last 2 post when done. They are pretty easy fixes so you should be good to go in no time.

for GPS configuration you need to set it up in RR Config and also set it up in the ExecTBL.ini file found inside the skin folder, its at the top of the file so its easy to find, note the first few lines are for non skinbedder setup (by default disabled with a forward slash / )
The default entries should be good if you have everything in the standard paths, just double check it to make sure.
the nag screen thing is configured in one file, startup.exe found here C:\Program Files\Road Runner\LSTOOLS\SB2.9\iGuidance
im not sure what the contents of the released version of this file are, ive changed it locally a few times myself to make the nagscreen fullproof.
the source for startup.exe is startup.au3 (in same folder) and to edit this file you just need to open it in notepad. But.... to recompile the contents of startup.au3 into startup.exe you will need autoit (link in first post).
The only line you need in this file is this
Run("C:\Program Files\iNav\iGuidance\iGuidance.exe nowarning", "C:\Program Files\iNav\iGuidance")
change the paths to where you have IG installed on your machine. If you have it installed in the above path you can just copy and past (overwrite) this file attatched below.
to setup the size of the skin, open general.ini found inside the skin folder.
the first 4 lines should look like this if your display is 800x600
OriginalWidth=800
OriginalHeight=480
ShowWidth=800
ShowHeight=480
there is a iguidance.exe file inside the LSTOOLS folder that has the menu, mute and zoom buttons removed.
