i know what space your talking about in the gps screen, basicly the embeded windown dosent go all the way to the bottom because the onstate for buttons is 5pix bigger than the off state for buttons. This is for all buttons. This is by design. Shouldnt bother you too much.

The ATT button is the same as an ATT button on a hardware headunit. It basicly lowers the volume to about 5% on the first click, second click will return the volume to whatever % it was originaly. For times when you dont want to pause or mute but just quickly lower the volume for brief seconds.

Do you want to replace the extra menus or remove them completely? Not quite sure what your asking.

As for IG3, look for the next update to this skin, should solve those problems you have with the umpc version.

BTW, for everyone else the update should be comeing verysoon, its being beta tested now.

I'm coming from win95 with large icons back in 96 or 97, then XP with aston shell a long time ago, to media car, then frodoplayer for more than a year... and now I wanted to change to RR because of this and one other skin that isn't released yet (CF style). I'm testing it all on a virtual machine with VMWARE first, then move everything over to my carpc when it's all the way I like it.

I understand about the 5px off state buttons fully now. Not a big deal, just thought maybe it was because I was was using the 480 to 600 stretch feature for resolution.

ATT button, neat, I haven't played with a head unit for so long I can barely remember the functions lol! I think a pioneer I had once had it

The extra menu's... I would like to remove completely. Really I only want the main screen, and maybe a config/skin/database changing menu. Is there a hotspot somewhere that could take you back to the main menu regardless of what you are doing? All I have is MP3, GPS, FM, OBD1, and CD/DVD. I don't like to watch or show movies, even though originally it was supposed to, and it has true 5.1 sound... too dangerous while driving, and don't spend time parked in my car (it's practically a 2 seater, stealth RT/TT)

I can test the beta for you if you want

as I'm beta testing the whole thing for myself.

i plan to add some auto time outs for some of the screens, so they will automaticly return to the main menu if you dont do something. To disable them, and or replace them with something smaller will require you to hand edit those screens. Its not hard, but you do kind of need to know how everything works. what i would do if i were you and only used certain functions, just move all of them to the main screen and dont use the others.

Unfortuntely, there is no easy way to configure the buttons except hand editing them. I really wish there was.

noticed a strange problem with my RR/LSX Void/IGmon combo... i'm not sure which one it is, and i'm trying to characterize the problem. maybe you guys know something about it.

when iGuidance "says" something, the music "pauses" and then "resumes" after she's done talking. however, if my music is already on "pause", it still "resumes" after shez done talking !

I didnt have this problem with CFX, it occurs now with LSX Void in the combo. I made sure RR didn't have the music resume option set, so thats not it. so... LSX Void, or iGmon ? any takes ppl ? thanks.

LS, I'm not sure if I'm crazy about having my screen automatically change to the main screen. I would rather have the option of just jumping to the main page from any screen manually.

Just a thought.

i noticed this a long time ago, just thought it was a small bug with igmon. But since you say it dosent do this with CFX it makes me wonder. Ill download the CFX skin and see if I can figure out why its like that.

it would be used very rarely. There are a few screens where it makes since, but not a lot. Definately not anything lilke the audio screen or any main area.
And as allways everything is an option, so it can be easily turned off.

as for the main screen, most screen you can get to the main screen with one click. Since the old quick menu will be retired in favor of the new IG3 quick menu ill have to look at another way to get out of deep menus.
